I think around 5 minutes in is a perfect example of how it just doesn't get the little things right. For example - when you kill that boar it just she is a stupid little animation that you're skimming it but it just looks like he's tying a shoelace or something! Just don't show anything if it looks generic. At least in Red Dead when they made you watch it, it was brutal and visceral to let you feel the impact. I swear, this series has so many immersion breaking elements from the janky controls to the ridiculously cluttered HUD. And these are legacy problems - they carry over from game to game and these publications eat it up - I really think Ubisoft pays major websites under the table because previews for every AC game talk about what a revolution the games are and it's always the same thing in a new setting. I actually think all of Ubisofts game series have a plastic feel to them and I think Watch Dogs looks like an overrated POS. Yeah I said it.
Another overrated AC game. And these publications go crazy over it. I got bamboozled into playing AC 3 from all the stellar reviews and hype. Needless to say I was very letdown. Never again.
Pretty much this...I don't take them seriously. Rarely agree with a single score or written review for any console. The only review I can remember agreeing with on both counts was for Dark Souls. I think KVO is the only good editor on the site. At the end of the day it's just someone else's opinion anyway.
Online is simply not Rockstars forte. The online for this is overrated and busted just like GTA4 was. I'm not hating on Rockstar - GTA And RDR are some of my fave games ever but the online is always overly ambitious and the community never helps it realize its full potential either.
I'm very skeptical of this game but I want it to be good I'm not hating I just feel its been extremely overhyped and in don't get it. Nothing I've seen from videos has blown my mind. Maybe I just need to play it to see / I'll wait for reviews before I buy its not a preorder type of game for me.
Reading a lot of these comments I'm starting to get the feeling that the problem isn't just that people can't get on but that when people do get on there isn't enough people to play with cohesively - kinda reminds me of GTA4s online which was broken and overrated. Lol at all the people who thought the gates of heaven were gonna open when this dropped! Its on some old a** hardware what did you expect? Rockstar getting all over ambitious as usual. And if you got this on PS3 may god have mercy on your souls cause PSN sucks donkey balls. Rock squeezed every ounce of power out of these now fossilized consoles and then said "let's throw an MMO on top of it too" Wtf lol
Wind Waker looks so good its crazy - I've been marveling at how well the re did it in the past few days - it needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Pokemon is going to be incredible. I have waited a really long time for this one - this ND was perfectly timed. I think this Holiday season will be incredible for gamers (I'm personally getting ps4 along with a few WiiU and 3DS games) but yea Pokemon info is all I care about right now leading up to its release!!!!
