[QUOTE="OreoMilkshake"][QUOTE="campzor"]4. lol @ carrying 50 vita cards aroundcampzor
I don't get this argument. Why not just carry the games you actually feel like playing when you're gone for while?

because i would want to play ALL my games ive bought for the system and not having to choose which to bring when i could bring them all. Not that it affects me that much...as i usually game at home... but its more convenient to have them all in 1 place. And what if i misplace a game and i lose it? I can just redownload it again. Im sure other ppl can list other reasons

Yah, I agree a digital library sounds like the best option for handheld gaming, however I've never known PSN for dropping the price on games. I don't know how many times I checked my PSP for a title to download only to see games at full retail price. They weren't even new in a lot of cases.....

Then you just go to Best Buy, and buy it for $10.....

I wish Sony, as well as MS and Nintendo, would take some notes from Steam and have much better deals far more often.

Can't......bring......myself.......to......play......*cough*

.......

games

And I was doing so well at clearing up my library of games recently.

A part of me wants to play Deus Ex: HR, another part of me wants to play Xenosaga, and another part wants me to play REmake.

I feel like I have this problem that, even when I have a lot of free time, school has just been so overwhelming lately that I can't bring myself to enjoy my free time as I was. I mean today I literally had like twelve hours to game, but I played the opening of Deus Ex, and watched tv for about two hours. That's about it.

[QUOTE="rzepak"][QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"] yes. most of the time the only stuff you see posted by analysts on system wars are they're most outrageous statements regardless if they were correct they're more mundane stuff is usually never talked about.

RyviusARC

Not only that but Pachter often talks about how his job works and that he knows that he is very often wrong. People who like to bash the dude should make the effort and watch the videos where he talks about what his job is actually about.

Well then he should stop making ignorant statements like..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNnJqJ9hO4w

Look at the very article this thread is about, and tell me what is wrong about what he said?

And when you're done reading that tell me why Nintendo feels the need to re-reveal the Wii U? Tell me why Nintendo, for the first time in their life of making video games, took a loss on their hardware sold with the 3DS?

We've already addressed that he has said stupid **** in the past, and we can all get some laughs from that, but it's not like he just says stupid **** all the time.

He's been right on a lot of issues people choose to ignore. One of his biggest predictions was how Apple was becoming a huge threat to the big 3. People laughed at him for that one too, and yet Nintendo has publicly stated (multiple times) that Apple is truly hurting their business.

Now that you mention it TC... On top of my head I can only remember Daxter as a great game for PSP I played that was made by a Western comapny.

Henry Hatsworth, and GTA: Chinatown Wars spring to my mind.

This is all you need to watch to see how more disconnected Pachter is from the real world. Link

We all say stupid things, and I agree his comments on what an RTS game are was a metric ton of ****

But he's not always wrong. People just want to focus on the times he is wrong, or take things he says out of context like this very thread. It suits their own agendas. People like to be right so much that they even deny what's actually going on.

Everytime an analyst spouts off stupid things, his credibility is lessened as it should be. He may be sometimes right but that doesn't matter if his credibility is not on a strong ground.

We hear very little of what he actually says, and of what we do hear people only focus on the negative.

If he had low credibility he wouldn't be paid six figures, nor would anyone hire him.

The same way the $400 Xbox 360 competed with the $129 PS2, and the $99 Gamecube
