For every multiplat that's worse on the 360 there are about 50 on the PS3 that are inferior.

My problem is less about the framerate (though it bugs me), and more about just how blurry console games look in comparison.
A lot of 360/PS3 games with more realistic graphics are just kinda nasty to look at.
considering sony's current situation, it's not surprising they chose not to spent half a f*cking billion dollars advertising the thing. how long would it be until they got that money back?BrunoBRS
Well they haven't made a profit in what? Four years? Five years?
So at that rate never.
I can get how some pepople consider them boring or repetitive, but easy? Lmao... there's no online genre that requires more skill than MOBA. Without a lot of training anyone gets completely massacred. The average skill level in those games is ridiculous[QUOTE="jonathant5"] I totally dont get why LoL and MOBA games are so popular, to me they just seem so boring, repetitive and easy. AdrianWerner
I wouldn't go THAT far.
I'd put them below both RTS and "some" FPS games.

Why? The service provider for your cell phone is your phone service and your isp. You don't pay for access from one company then pay the cell phone manufacturer again to unlock it. Anyway you look at it that's what MS does. They don't provide servers for games, so all you are paying for is the ability to use your bandwidth you paid someone else for.
P2P is an assy way to play online, but it's downright laughable to think about paying for such an assy way to play online.

As I've said many times in this thread.
If online gaming was the ONLY FEATURE associated with XBL you'd have a point.
Then why they making P2P paid with MS makeing sirver account? Why they makeing freaking Facebook, Twitter, Last FM paid that technicly is free? wht they run Games for Windows free multiplayer that runs on exact samei infrastructure as xbox live? why they not makeing you pay only for those extra services?
Thay all making that because oyu letting them do
Because people prefer to have an Xbox under their TV than a PC as it's much more convenient.
Same reason people buy smart phones, and pay huge amounts in monthly subs to use them even though their laptops can do the same thing for free.
Because they'd advertising a product that's not for the people watching tv?
That's exactly how I see it, make people want to keep it.[QUOTE="soulitane"][QUOTE="eboyishere"]Or just make a game that is actually badass so you don't have to worry about it being sold back :oeboyishere
a few stick out. Halo series, bioshock series and certain RPG games :P
The problem is that even the greatest games you can find on the used shelf at Gamestop.

agreed, like every cell phone company on earth that sells theirs hardware at a loss in order to make it up with service charges. Glad you are making a stand against this type of business practice by not owning a cell phone.

I only wish I could like this post.

On the PC
On the PS3 I'm hyping nothing. Looks very bland like last year. I may get MLB The Show, but the 2K series, as bad as it once was, is actually catching up in quality. It's better in some ways while worse in others. I can get 2K on my PC though.
Cows tried that with PS3 exclusives, then shut up when Flopsistance 3 bombed even though it was advertised like hell.
Lack of consumer interest doesn't = lack of marketing. But we'll see how cows react.
Tikeio
That could be spot on too.
Even if they threw $200 million to advertise the Vita I still doubt many would buy it simply because there's so much competition in the marketplace today, and Sony doesn't have the software to sell the Vita.
