[QUOTE="SW__Troll"]

I'm confused how the 360 can be "bad" for a new IP just because it can be upwards of a year or later before a port is made of a game originally on 360?

If it was actually "bad" for new IPs then those developers would have never put the games on the 360. It's just retard logic.

Also, why has the issue of both Factor 5 and Free Radical DYING after supporting the PS3 not been addressed?

The issue is that people buy consoles for exclusives, not multiplats. Another reason people buy consoles is for new IP's not rehashes or sequels. So combining the two console buying factors we get exclusive new IP's. There have been arguments about overall libraries about games and superiority of multiplats but this thread is about exclusive new IP's.

So you're telling me that when Mass Effect, or Bioshock were originally on the 360 people didn't buy the 360 for those games?

And people held off buying a 360 for games like Alan Wake because nearly two years later it might show up on the PC?

Is that what you're getting at?

Well, the 360 didn't kill Factor 5 after they released a new IP

That's all I know :(

Salt_The_Fries

Damn right about that! They didn't also kill Bizarre Creations...Although it seems like they made Kinect-slaves out of Rare.

Same thing with Haze.

It released, and then Free Radical went into financial administration.

im not trying to be a dick but i honestly would like to know how people play shooters on pc. i've tried a few times and maybe its just how my computer and mouse are set up but it hurts my hands every single time. idk why, i cant do it. it wasn't really any harder than playing on a controller and it didnt seem like my aim was better so why do people say a K/M is better than a controller? just curious because ive always preferred a controller for shootersmems_1224

If it hurts your hands to use your computer then you're using it the wrong way.

There are like 3 or 4 games on that list I'm interested in.

That's usually how I start out each year it seems, but as time goes on, and I learn a little bit more about the games that do come out the list grows quite rapidly.

Not to mention how many games kinda just come out on the PC. I mean I had no clue Carpe Fulgar was going to release another JRPG on the PC, but the other day their new release "Fortune Summoners" kinda just showed up on Steam.

It really just depends on how invested you are in the PC. I mean looking at it from the outside it doesn't seem like much, but when you really start gaming on the PC, and start learning about just what actually is out there (since so much is not advertised, or even publicized) it becomes a very interesting and unique gaming platform

Well it got a 5.5 here and, having not actually played myself, apparently some elements are atrocious, like the ground combat.

Vaasman

If there's one thing I'd never do it'd be to use a review score for an online game that's always changing.

It's no longer the same game as it was at launch, so that 5.5 doesn't really apply.

They updated it a lot as time went on with a lot more stuff for the fans.

The gameplay itself is not the greatest, but most F2P MMO games fail in that regard.

If you're a Star Trek fan it's worth playing, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to many other people

Installed Windows 7 to my SSD. Boots up in about 16 seconds. A whole lot better than the 3 minutes I normally waited. lol w00t!Stevo_the_gamer

It used to take 3 minutes?

Mine takes like 35-40 seconds.

The problem with online passes is that it affects the customer negatively.

That's not how any business should operate.
