Google doesn't need to buy a hardware company to get into hardware. They need to hire hardware engineers to get into hardware.

The only reason Google buys companies is essentially to gain their list of patents. That's all.

Not only that, but there are laws in place that prevent a non-Japanese company, or person, owning more than 50% of a Japanese company.

I don't think Google is in the market of buying unprofitable companies.

The PC has been winning for a long time, and has both hardware and software.

Still have yet to buy the game, but I played the demo around five times through.

I'll get it eventually. I just can't quite bring myself to with what games I have still to play.

They have developed some of the most critically acclaimed FPS games of all time.

They have supported their multiplayer titles with countless updates, and and free content. Moreso than any other developer in the world.

They have provided us with not just one type of FPS, but multiple different types ranging from team multiplayer, to puzzle, to co-op survival. All of them are some of, if not the top in their class.

And they provide the greatest gaming service available

So I agree with TC.

I'm already bored just thinking about its existence.

Well Basinboy is right. It's about the style. That's why the terms came about.

Even the producer of Demon Souls basically came out, and stated it was not designed as a JRPG (as he hates that genre)

Wait, people classify Demon's/Dark Souls as JRPGs? The style of those games is completely Western-based (notwithstanding they're developed by a Japanese studio).

So how come we don't make that distinction for any other genre?

The Wii was the best of the three consoles, but that's coming from the viewpoint of a PC gamer.

I've already got a PC for action games, and shooters, and whatnot, and I just don't need the gimped experience the 360/PS3 offer me in that aspect of gaming.

The Wii though....It's a fantastic compliment to PC gaming since the experiences are very different.
