[QUOTE="Srinivassa"]Yeah, I poked around Bioware forums, and several people asked questions about the PC port in several threads, all of which got locked by a mod with the same line, "Bioware has no plans at this time to migrate Mass Effect to the PC." What I think that means is: Long Freaking Wait. I think it'll come, but they can't say because MS has an exclusive and can probably hold onto it for as long as they like. As long as this thing keeps selling systems, MS will hold onto the exclusive. I would have guessed that we would get the PC port next year, but it's looking like I was being optimistic again. (which is weird considering what an insufferable cynic I am)Staryoshi87

And then we have the EA acquisition and the coming economic depression to deal with, so who knows what will happen.

Recession. A depression is unlikely to happen in our lifetime. Besides, that has nothing to do with anything in this case.

Wait and see. You'll find out soon enough. And yes it does.

I finished Crysis in 8 hours and haven't played itonce since then. I guess that says how I really feel about it. Same with Bioshock, except that it took 12 hours to finish. I'm bored by all the recent shooters.

[QUOTE="LTZH"][QUOTE="darkSIDEechoes"]I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that ME was an RPG. I heard about it a while ago and just thought it was a 3rd person shooter....The Witcher should be here any day now...darkSIDEechoes

what world do you live in?

A world where I hate KOTOR-esque gameplay?

It's not quite like KotOR - it's realtime and there are no 'dice rolls' per se. Anyone expecting quality shooter action and controls will be sorely disappointed however. That said, its strong point is clearly the story.

Different platforms. The Witcher will win PC RPG of the year. ME will win X360 RPG of the year.

With EA looming I have serious doubts as to DA ever seeing the light of day. It seems like the DA team is little more than a skeleton crew, with a few extra people being shuffled back and forth from other headline projects. They don't have another 2-3 years to finish - EA would never let that happen, not on their coin anyway. I think they've got a year at most, and after that kiss it goodbye.

Orange Box is 3 games (plus 2 epsiodes) in one. How can 3 games all win game of the year? Not to mention the fact that HL2 came out in 2004. Are tag team rules in effect? Nope. TF2, EP2 and Portal have to be counted seperately.
