@Mevrick: Sorry but blame PC game players, that's where it started, namely in MMOs which is a model that Destiny follows. Not sure why its suddenly big news to be honest.

@RossRichard: How is Destiny destroyed by this? Explain yourself because I just don't see it. I play the game, I have bought zero emotes from the store, I am still playing the game with absolutely no difference to my gameplay prior to the store opening. I'm not seeing the reason for the tears.

...and this is exactly why micro transactions in games will never go away. Cry all you like but it is extra revenue for game developers which will in turn be put back into game development and production. The PC ladies could learn a thing or two about paying for games rather than pirating everything before their platform dies off completely or is dominated by cheap indie garbage... oh wait.

An MP only game will not surpass Far Cry 4 in sales. Sorry.
