Did you not watch the MS conference before E3? TV, Sports and COD....thats what a core gamers is looking for...yea gimme FIFA and NFL all day! (sarcasm lol)
Again internet connection is not too much, its not what im saying...what im saying is give me the choice. dont force it on me like your some omnipotent being and i (as a consumer) do not get the freedom of choice
I do understand that, im fine with an internet connection, but dont try to force it on me. "You cant play unless there is internet" is a ridiculous concept. It like you cant use ur phone unless you have cell reception. I can use the smart phone for other things other than calling. My main concern is that silly Kinect For the record i didnt call MS an Evil company, I said they have lost their vision and targeting the wrong group and they tend to be prone to wanting to much control.
@Enundr @Sav117 @Yogurt_master Immersion, HAHAHA. Last thing i want to do is stand up and wave around like a lunatic at my TV, or even talk to my console....ppl already think im crazy lol
They had this giant plan for different aspects of the console. Then they change everything back. The distrust stems from "would they go back eventually to their original plan?" With used game rules, and internet connection requirements. The issue here is that they can force it by other means once they have people buy the console. They started by targeting the casual gamers, they will probably go back to that. I dont trust a company that wants that much power over their customers and will probably be willing to go back to it eventually one way or another.
god knows that they make you agree to in the terms and conditions. I dunno they focused on the wrong group of gamers from the start. You can see their end game from now even if they changed now. As far as im concerned that Kinect is a bad concept for your core gamer. (and u'll love this, and i do believe this) they have a windows 8 OS running in the console, which presumably controls the Kinect, whats to stop someone from hacking the back end and taking control of your camera (that can see in the dark) can you image the ramifications if its in a child's bedroom??
