@Fade2black001: In Australia, where I am, buying a 980TI locally IS a thousand bucks AU. I usually buy from Digital Matrix Computers. Here is a link and check these prices: http://digitalmatrixcomputers.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=18_112_345.
If I buy online I can get cheaper, but then if I have a problem returning it can be a big hassle. Sucks to be an Aussie gamer!
@LPDisturbedHU: Yup. Cool. Tell all that to the distributors that owns the rights. Defining a sequels comparison in "sure-thing scenario" won't get it made any faster. Unless you have a spare 200 million?
I'm over it. Waiting for Deadpool and anything else that hasn't been delayed/cancelled, yet. Some awesome movies out this year!
Considering what a leap of faith this kind of movie was, I'm not surprised. Took a decade before Avatar sequels even were shown the light. Look how long it took for Star Wars movies. Pacific Rim will create a great franchise, but only if the next film does better. Take their time and do it right. I'll watch Pacific Rim every now and again till then :)
If only someone would make a Robotech movie. Maybe in my lifetime ...
I'm going to see this movie at least twice more. Way too much to take in on the first time. Especially since many friends and family haven't seen it yet. Good excuse to go along and enjoy their first-time reactions :)
I loved the film. Way too much like Episodes 4 and 6, but I'm nostaligic enough to enjoy it anyway. Seeing the workings of a Tie-Fighter was brilliant. Having most of the fighter battles within an atmosphere, and not in space, helped make the sound effects make sense. Little bit of science logic there in a very mystic driven movie. :)
I think everything we've seen so far will make so much more sense in the next two movies. And then on and on from there.
I wonder if I'll see Rey saying "Okay Chewie ... Punch It!"
