Long as I see some ghostbusting and wise-cracking I'm up for a fun movie. Don't care who stars really. Considering how long its been since the last movie, I'll take what I can get.
No repect for hardware, forget the software. Games come and go but hardware should last for many games. No respect, dude. Go buy an Elite Controller and burn through some real money.
I don't know about the sky being a cover mechanic. Some of the areas are too tight for swinging around. Death from above would be better if Ricco had more explosive variations available, especially earlier in the game. Having armour selection might help Ricco feel less like a bullet pinata especially for a game with only open air to hide. Faceplanting into things while using wingsuit and then tumbling down cliffs/steep slopes is painful to watch, but sometimes funny.
I like the patch so far for better, smoother gameplay.
Now if only they are trying to fix the horrible vehicle controls. They just don't feel like its worth my time to drive at all apart from Tanks. All aircraft (mainly helicopters) are pathetic to fly, too easy to be destroyed and minimal maneuverability. Bring back the old JC2 aircraft controls! Avoid bikes. Virtually impossible to ride. I destroy every one I see. They are a menace!
It was an epic film. Worthy of the name "Star Wars". Midnight screening was worth it and the movie was brilliant. Really captured what worked in the original films and added new twists and characters. Visually nothing is much shiny or lens flare here. Gritty, dirty and shows wear and tear. Gotta love the way the spacecraft looked and moved. Everything didn't feel like blatant CGI, which is exactly where the prequels went wrong. It also really pushed and pulled on what the force is all about (pun intended). The force feels mystic again, and it is strong.
@guydude3412: I got both. Xbox One controller and the Steam Controller at virtually the same time. Sometimes the trackpad really works well. Sometimes I just need thumbsticks for a lazier style play. I still use keyboard/mouse combo for a few games when I want a perfect and familiar accuracy. The learning curve of something new is always a hassle. I love the Steam Controller though. Using it more and more as I accustom to its feel, and take the time to tweak the programming of it :)
