So far, I would say it is definitely worth it. If you play on a high difficulty, it is going to take you a long time.

Completely disagree. It seems like people throw out the words "generic shooter" without even thinking about it. Crysis 3 has massive levels that can be explored, unique gameplay, and it's built DX11 from the ground up.

Seriously, can someone explain what's so generic ? Crysis 3 is one of the more unique shooters out there.

The game is around 8 hours in length, possibly 10 for the highest difficulty.

It didn't come off as consolized to me, and I work with CE3, so I would know. Crysis 2, for instance was very consolized. Again, so far the game is great, the levels are very open. The gameplay is also the best in the series, well, maybe crysis is better, but I love Crysis 3 so far.

The graphics are absolutely unbelievable, it blows away anything to date, including that new KZ demo. It is built from the ground up with DX11. I am only on the second level, but so far, the levels are very big. The second level, has you running across around a mile of terrain in each direction, and from what  I hear, it gets even larger later in the game. You have side quests, so there isn't always a definite direction, you can roam freely. So far I love the gameplay.

WARNING : These Screens may cause excessive spending..  - I had AA lower on the first 3 or 4, SMAAx4 is a must.

This show how shallow PC gaming is...not gonna lie that LOOKS amazing, but it is 5 hours long and may be crap.

we aren't shallow,  I honestly love the gameplay in Crysis 3, and the campaign is supposed to be 8 hours, the graphics are just another big reason to buy the game.

With Crysis 3 releasing very soon, Cevat Yerli has promised that Crysis 3 will melt your PC's.  I personally believe BF3 in SP mode is by far the best looking game this generation.  The game looks absolutely stunning with every setting at ultra with AA at 2560x1440 resolution.  Max Payne 3 was a close second.    

Crytek lied to the PC fanbase a lot before the release of Crysis 2 so i am taking what he says with a giant grain of salt.  

I don't think Crytek will deliver and BF3 will retain it's throne.

Bf3's single player(pc), was easily the best looking game/ most realisticto date. We were discussing this on Crydev, and I posted a comparison of Bf3 and C2's daytime, and Bf3 literally looked a gen apart. We came  to the consensus that is was the gi that bf3 uses that really sets it apart. Aside from the great shaders and textures it has. But, I think C3 will finally dethrone it.
