Well I understand that its fun, but it lacks so many things that other amazing titles have...such as Half-life 2's amazing interactive storytelling for one example.

Okay I'm by no means slamming the Halo series here so don't call me a fanboy blah blah etc. I Just think that I'm missing something here.:)
Alright I'll start off by saying that I have completed both Halo 1 and 2 and have spent at least 20+ hours of online time. But I still wonder where the series had gathered its "Godly" status. What is so amazing about Halo? Yes I admit they are good games but what makes it so much better than games like Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, the Unreal series, Battlefield series and so-on. Halo 3 has been one of the most anticipated games of all time over the course of the past 2 years...but why? Am I missing something here? What does Halo have that other games don't? Thanks :D
I swear some of these people who fell for the marketing of the PS3 and 360 came out have to be real young. You know wat all those previews of consoles that weren't out yet? They were "teasers" and they can hide behind "optimism" for what games will look like on finalized hardware. Has any PS3 game looked even close to those CG shots, that for some reason you think is real-time? This is just like the PS2 launch, when they showed insane amounts of things that would never be possible on the hardware.Yay someone who's intelligent!
Hell! I remember the first previews for The Bouncer that looked amazing with a bunch of physics and stuff, and that turned out nothing like they had shown.
Anyone who thought PS3 would be pumping out CG graphics is an idiot! Plain and simple. I just don't get why this is a new concept to some people, it's been a marketing ploy for launching of consoles since I'd say Playstation/N64 era! They fool you with overly optimistic graphics and then gradually tone it down until you're seeing a final preview before it's released. This is not NEW, yet you think it's because of the 360 hardware. HA! NickinAround

uuh.....they never lied...they never actually SAID that it was going to be a ps3 exclusive...if you bought a PS3 ASSUMING that it would not be multi-plat, then that's your fault. As for losing respect for Capcom because of YOUR stupid mistake, have fun with that.
Also, that had to be CG. WHen you think about almost all of the trailers everywhere before ps3 launch were CG. It's a great markteting technique, until the consumer catches on and starts to distrust the game companies. But if you were a game developer, you would show CG screens too because it's easier than showing an unfinished sloppy version of the actual game.
So basically, yeah it's CG and trust me, the 360 is not holding back the ps3's potential. I have yet to see a ps3 game that looks better than Gears, although there wil be some eventually. The ps3 is technically more powerful, just extremely hard to develop for. The cell processor wasn't meant for gaming. Don't worry, the game will be how it was originally intended.

The teaser to which that picture belongs had a message saying that this game was PS3 exclusive. So tell me again, did Capcom not lie to us?
Perhaps they did, but the point is that even if they "lied" they are still one of the greatest game developers of all time. There's no reason for you to get mad at them just because they want to make more money from multi-plat software. The more money they make, the better games they can make. So why complain?Yep. Consoles are becoming too much like PCs in my opinion. There are just so few exclusives these days that it's almost like...why buy this console if I already have ThIS console. They have the same games anyway.Downgraded? Perhaps.
But there's nothing we can do about it.
In this day and age, only a few companies can afford to keep their games exclusive. We'll just have to deal with the slight (if any) downgrades.

PCs are better anyway...they have already surpassed any console game graphics-wise.
