Wow like Blizzard doesn't nickel & dime customers to death already with transfers/faction/name changes to say a few plus buying up mounts & pets? Only way your model is going to truly work is if they get rid of the monthly sub fee. Learn something from Steam/Valve
Not surprised at all at this news. I left back when MoP launched glad I didn't look back. Reading the headaches (or improvements as Blizzard says) that have been added since then, I can't blame anyone for wanting to leave. I know there are those that still are into WoW, have fun while you can is all I can say.
They are upset because your little 'expose' was completely one-sided Katie and I might say that was because you don't even play games. Also if we're to believe that games are truly a catalyst for this kind of behavior, you don't think people that gamble on video poker machines or other gaming machines in casinos etc don't become violent and angry when THEY lose?
Still I don't see these gaming/gambling addicts plotting or carrying out bombing attacks yet we're to believe the gamers are subjected to the point of carrying out such atrocities? Chances are, if they commited these crimes they were already screwed up in the head to begin with, the friggin video games DID NOT tell them to go out and kill/hurt/maim people.
wow it took Pachter 5-6 months to come up with that? Thanks Captain Hindsight. As usual your powers of prediction astound me. How in the hell are you still a game industry analyst Pachter?
The main reason Wii U is doing that bad is lack of good titles. You can't just flood the market with cheap fitness, disney & lego titles anymore and expect good results like you did with the Wii. Until they release more creative games for it, its gonna sell like crap.
Another reason? they fubar'd their internal Wii U updates/system configs from day 1 instead of working the issues out ahead of time. They just simply wanted to be the 1st on the map again with their 'next-gen console' thinking Wii U would fly to success simply because thats how it worked with the Wii when it came out. Unfortunately, a new gamepad and graphics to match current-gen consoles is not enough.
I'm not happy about Hayter being left out of this. On the same point given the growth of Big Boss as a character and he WAS voiced different than Hayter in MGS4, I can see how they might have wanted to have someone else voice BB. I personally would like to see Hayter voice Ground Zeroes and then after he's wounded and in a coma THEN change him over possibly. At least it seems to make more surface sense to me.
One thing is for sure, if they make an actual MG remake, they better bring Hayter back for the Solid Snake role. Anything else is just finiances. I'm with Hayter though, I'm bummed
Well thats better than nothing at all I suppose. I figure Darksiders series was pretty much done (and still potentially could be). I enjoyed playing them both. Would love to see the series finished but...not if its half assed.
