I played Civ 3 before I got Civ 4 so I knew what i was getting into. Civ 4 is, in my opinion, the best turn-based strategy game. Its the kind of game that will always keep you coming back for more. I find I've played this game more often then any other in my collection.

There is a lot to learn, but as was posted before, the tutorial is very good. Even after playing Civ 4 all this time, I find myself still learning new things. And that is why i find it so fun to play.

If you don't already have this one, get it! The phrase, "One more turn..." will be with you forever in your civilization building mind...

I can't wait for Starcraft 2, we've been waiting a long time this this one. But I also think Spore should be one for the record books.

In most C&C games all you have to do is put your SCV in an open area and double click it to "Un-Pack". This will cause it to build your command and control center. Does this help? Which C&C game are you referring to?

I know I'll be asking for COD4 for Christmas. I heard the single player is short, but still fun. The real reason I want it is for the multi-player. I hear some of the unlocks are really cool...

I think its between Civilization 4 and Galactic Civ 2. Both have great diplomacy and AI.

I agree, B&W 2 is a pretty unique game, not too many out there like it. But I think what you're looking for would be like the TotalWar series andAge of Empires 2 & 3. You might even like to give Civilization 4 a try. Its turn based, but it does focus more on city building and diplomacy.

What most likely happened is when you attack a city that has 1 population, it will automatically destroy it (ya, I know it sucks). If you want to stop this, try checking off the "No Raze/Destroy Cities" button at the beginning of the round. This option will not allow you, or the comp,to destroy any cities.

You should be able to play it on max with an 8800 in there. Even without it, itwill still look great.

I really like this game. But I stopped playing it because it was getting too hard to level up and get the rest of the unlocks. Not really sure what I was doing wrong, I used to always get in the top 5 or 6 players each round.

But still worth it in th long run
