@7tizz: Get out of here with that crap, girl and woman are interchangeable among those not stuck up on sjw correctness.

@Tiwill44: Most of the time it seems you're supposed to just run from them. In the missions I've played where you must kill them it's been a long grind of both me and Quiet shooting them in the head, which has only been twice. They are badly designed "boss" opponents, just tanks with crazy speed and unpredictable effectiveness. They need a fun weakness.

@prats93: You really played both? I did, and while MGS5 has fun shooting and cool stealth action, it's actual open world was pretty weak. In MGS5 everything is so neatly tucked away into well defined bases and outposts, no chaos, no surprises, very little variation. You're either in the desert, African plains, or African forest, very little variety.

What MGS5 managed to do well is make you feel like you're having fun when most of the time you're doing nothing. Witcher 3 was straight up packed with content, variety, and a good story.

@pongley: Then we must manage our resources differently. Like you say you do in SimCity, in Skylines I lay down enough power/water/sewage at a time that it's not a concern very often, and making those additions is quick and simple.

Instead the majority of my time is spent laying down new areas, and maybe even more so, refining my roads to manage traffic flow. Making sure police and firemen can efficiently cover the city is part of that concern. So yeah, it seems you just need to play differently, as I seem to experience what you're wanting but not seeing.

@larsondir82: Lol, you mean like how you're feeling entitled to a girl that doesn't feel entitled to a better guy? Make yourself the better guy, then laugh at your previous self. I'm a pretty nerdy guy and I get all the dates I want, because I just do it.

@pongley: I'm curious what exactly you mean. I've played Simcity4 and Skylines, and I'm not sure what major core feature/s it's missing in comparison. How does Skylines not let you focus on the design of your city? That's certainly what I do when playing it.

Go to this article: http://gearnuke.com/far-cry-4-ps3-vs-ps4-vs-pc-image-comparison-shows-solid-effort-platforms/

Scroll to the bottom of the article and open the left and right image sets (PC left, PS4 right, ignore the PS3 shots in the middle) and tab between them. Don't use the on page "slider comparisons", they're too small. Those screenshots will show you how the PC has much higher detail foliage and crisp shadows, along with generally higher texture density overall. Add to that the higher framerate which makes everything play smoother, and negates how bad frame drops look when they occur.

Videos, especially on 60fps capable players, are great for comparing framerate and motion effects, but all videos on the web are compressed enough that you'll never see the texture differences properly, that's why you should check out screenshots.

Don't be mad PS4 fans, the game still looks great on PS4, but you don't need to make a big fuss or try denying that it's noticeably better on PC. The only people getting shafted are last gen players, it could have looked better for them.

@Shouoken4Peace To get it on ultra settings WITH nice AA (that consoles don't have) and break over 60fps, yes you need a monster rig. But watching TotalBiscuit's "port report" seems to show that just removing AA can give you a 15-20fps boost, and from there you can lower some other settings down.

Basically, a normal affordable gaming PC will run the game at console visual levels with higher fps, while monster rigs get even higher fps, better visuals, and AA to polish it off. Only casual budget gaming rigs will come out worse than the consoles.

@dlaney34 @aardjawad PC isn't even locked, with a powerful enough computer, or reduced settings (that consoles are using) it can go over 100fps.

And that's what this scrub aard can't see, how much nicer 60+ looks compared to 30. You can even see some of it in this video. He also has no idea what atmospheric effects are, with PC backgrounds being "washed out" but visibly more detailed, while the consoles versions are blurry and lacking the deliberate fog.

@hoyholyhoy Well first up, this page you're on seems to be representing 4 great SP campaigns in one, I don't see any option for that on PS4.

But I'll stop you before you think I'm an xbox fanboy, I don't have an XB1 or a PS4. Until they price drop a lot I'm not paying money for last gen hardware in a new box. I'll be playing my 1080p, 120fps, half price, no online subscription fee games. PC master raaaaaace :D
