Lunar, Breath of Fire 3 and 4, Chrono Trigger, FF7, Xenogears.

Might want to review the list, however, Lunar, CT CD, and Xeno gears may be accepted. [QUOTE="Dudersaper"]Well by the one you added there and judging by the prices. I'd say go for: Parasite Eve & Parasite Eve 2 Threads of Fate (great game) and the rest of my list continue the same. If I'd remove any to put in those remove Legend of Mana and Final Fantasy IX. And I've never played Secret of Mana for the SNES, but I'm pretty sure the gameplay for Legend of Mana is similar, though with much better visuals and more polished controls.

How would you describe and rate threads of Fate? i mean i already admitted in another thread having Female characters on the cover (especially anime like) usually attracts me in the other direction but the game might be good. there are 3 copies here. Also, PE, is it true it has a time limit? and that the gameplay is timed as well or is that not true? Not that i hate time limits, just wondering from what I have heard, and the above reason i keep mentioning.

Added VP, parasite Eve 1 and 2, Grandia, Vagrant Story from both stores. also adding threads of fate which was in the VHs section for some reason and not one person who worked there didn't see the obvious set of CD cases in the VHS section. $6.50 The highest priced game is Final Fantasy IX for $27 dollar, and the lowest priced game do far is Vandal Hearts for $3 most other games are between $5-$ with Suikoden 1 2, Perasite Eve 1 and 2, Grandia, Chocbo's Dungeon 2, Vagrant Story, and Xenogears being the only one over $8 and below $27. Respectively, the prices for the above games are $12, $9, $13, $13, $15, $13, $16, $11.50. However, I can get $5 dollars off each game because am a regular customer (I have spend over $200 here for used goods, they sign you up for discounts. pretty business wise for a random store, although for bigger priced items the discount is not much.) So that would make most games $1.50-4.00 or around that and the above games are all under $10 dollars EXCEPT Vagarant Story, Grandia, and Final Fantasy Ix, however those 3 games would be under $20.

[QUOTE="rilpas"]both lunar games Final Fantasy Tactics suikoden 2 chrono cross

Is the PSX version of the first Lunar better than the Sega CD one? [QUOTE="Dudersaper"]Xenogears Chrono Cross Final Fantasy IX Legend of Mana Chrono Trigger (IF you haven't played the SNES one) Those are the ones I'd reccomend the most, but if I found that selection of games the first one I'd buy is actually Koudelka, because I've been looking for it for quite a while.

Yeah, Koudelka seemed interesting, I played a bit of it at a store back then. As for Legend of Mana, does it similar to the one on the SNES or is the gameplay slightly altered or changed?

How about they just finish Sonic 4 and put it on a nice retail box. Might actually sell more.

[QUOTE="Shockwave-DASH"][QUOTE="Renegade_Fury"]

If you liked the Adventure games, then there's no reason to give Generations the shaft when it's far superior in gameplay, level layout and design, camera angles, and music.

Renegade_Fury

The only thing you have is Camera Angles. Music is rehashed, stages are rehashed with some glitches and some annoying layouts. The only real problem wth the Adventure games for example were camera angles. And the controller.

Well it's an anniversary game so of course the music is just remixes, and the stages even if they are based off old ones, are designed and play completely differently. If you think the only thing the Adventure games have wrong is the camera angles, you are blinded with nostalgia. It's slow, clunky, and broken with characters falling off the screen to their deaths. Then on top of it, there are needless fetch quest and shooting levels which have nothing to do with Sonic. Generations is fast and seamless, which is a far cry from the relic that the Adventure games are.

No I am not blinded by anything, the following 8 Sonic games played worse and had everything you just complained about except they all had a better camera. you are comparing Adventure to a game that just came out within a year.

[QUOTE="Zensword"][QUOTE="Shockwave-DASH"] it's made by United Front Games

Who gave them the rights to make the game and who's name is going to be on the bottom right of the box?
[QUOTE="Shockwave-DASH"]People, it is being made by Square Enix, you know the people good at making you buy crappy games with cutscenes that barely show gameplay? This game is going to bomb.Chris_Williams
its not made by square enix, they are publishing it.

Again, who's in charge and will be putting there name on the bottom right of the box?

3DO Gold Stars do not break, and that's a CD based system, many times throwing my controller and dropping things on it (The latter by accident.) All atari Consoles (With some controller exception like the 5200, and excluding the two released this gen), all Atari Computers, and the Lynx. Thinkpad gaming laptops Xbox Gamecube, although it is actually easier to break then many think if it lands head first the CD drive usually messes up and not many people drop it like that. Saturn Genesis TurboDuo (16 can mess up the card reader. Duo is the one that doesn't break.) uh........................ GBA. Bally Astrocade That's about all I can think of.

Okay, so I just visited my random video game store and they have a lot of gams, but I also noticed they have a LOT OF Jrpgs. Now, out of the jrpgs they have I will list the ones I don't own, and maybe you guys can suggest a top 5 since i can only buy 5 at the moment with some information on the game. it would also help if there are games they have that i should stay away from if there are any. if you suggest more than 5 games or less you can do that to. So here's the list: Chocobo's dungeon 2 Chrono Cross Chrono Trigger CD Final Fantasy IX Final Fantasy tactics Jade Cocoon Saga Frontier Saga Frontier 2 Dragon Warrior VII Suikoden Suikoden 2 Grandsteam saga Hoshigami Persona 1 Vandal hearts vandal hearts 2 legend of mana Arc the lad collection Lunar Silver Star Lunar Eternal Blue Koudelka Xenogears Edit: Grandia Vagrant Story Edit: Valykeria Profile parasite Eve Parasite Eve 2 Edit: Threads of Fate last Edit: Star ocean 2nd Azure Dreams So that's the list of games. Oh and if there is a game you would suggest not on the list the other store has all the rest I believe. but from this list which 5 would you think would be good to try? (or your favorites) with a description of the game (Gameplay, elements, etc.) because about over half this list interests me, and had interested me before when they came out. Edit: it actually might be possible for me to get 6, depends on the game prices. Games brought so far: 1.Suikoden/Suikoden 2 bundled for $12. I told the store guy they are supposed to be together and he believed me. 2. 3. 4. 5. Beyond the beyond (Quite a few PM'S suggesting this, and it is at the other store, if it's still there i will pick it up along the way back.) 6. Saga Frontier (Mixed PM's about the game) 7.Threads of Fate. 8. i can get 4 more games at the moment.
