yes that will be fine to play 360 on. I would suggest getting a Widescreen monitor though. since 360 games are made to take advantage of widescreen.

Hey I've used both sets and they both sound equally as good. It really just depends on if you want to spend the xtra money for wireless. Me personally I went ahead and opted for the Tritton ax360 headphones.

Over a dozen companies worked on VC-1. Not JUST microsoft. But sure they would like to take all the credit for it, just like they try to do with almost everything.....everything that succeeds of course.dxmcat

Sorta like Sony with Blu-ray?

BR is over rated. Sure its the future of gaming... But for movies... I think it looks worse then DVD's. Because HD grain in movies looks like crap.

Although I will admit some BR movies do look fantastic... If they don't have special effects over the image.

Truth_Hurts_U

The noise is not from the special effects. Its from the transfer from older movies to HD. Most of your newer movies coming out, especially those shot in digital have very very little noise if any at all. I.E. I am Legend.

That would be sweet. Not only was HD-DVD backed by microsoft, but so was the video compression used. If this comes true, it will go to show that Microsoft is Sony's ****dxmcat

Are you retarded? Hows does that make MS Sony's *****? Sony is not the soul creator of the BD like some of you people seem to think. MS decided to side with HDDVD, big deal. Plus really at the time of release HD had more features anyways, just not the space capacity. Its taken Blu-ray what like 2+ years to get all the features that was availabe on HD-DVD at launch. /sigh fanboys never cease to amaze.

For the record I'm a huge BD fan, just felt to share a few facts for those to close minded to see them for themselves.

I did not even know ACER made TVs. I just thought they dealt with monitors and PC/PC equipment. Ummm... that is a good pirce for that size. Plus their monitors are I'd say average. So it would probably perform like a Vizio or equivalent.

You are mistaken, look at the Wii, most games dont focus on graphics with the Wii. Now compare the games the Wii has to the ones that ps3 and xbox 360 have.

Yeah, the wii is full of crap games that dont focus on the visuals, so I doubt its the graphics that are the problem. To be honest I think this generation of gaming is a lot better than last gen, with games like COD4, Bioshock, Uncharted, MGS4, Halo 3 and NGII pushing the limits. Gaming has never been this big and its only getting better.

Jandrobag

I agree with you those are all great games, but IMO out of the past 3 generations, the ps-one / n64 had it down. I can't even begin to name all the wonderful games that came out during that time.

I think bending space would be more probably than FTL travel. After all isn't that what a black hole does? or am I confused.
