The xtra fans are to replace the case fans, the reviews I read said the case fans were not that great. I really dont play going tri-sli, its just the mobo got pretty good reviews. and since I am building a new PC for a little xtra I can get the 9 series GPU instead of the older 8800. I know the performance is not that much better, but if you look at benchmarks and the such the 9 series has better DX10 performance.

Ok, so here is the deal, why do we have to be lemming, cows, sheep or hermits? Its like being racist and thats not very nice. Why cant we all just be gamers and sit around in circles while touching each others systems singing kumbaya in a complete state of euphoria? Weeee..... so... tired....

Ok, I probably going to get slammed for this, but if the kid is going to pay 250-300 for a pc just to play games on, why dont you just go get yourself a xbox 360? It has orange box, plus it will be good for 3 or 4 more years and you know for a fact that it can play all 360 games without having to worry about system requirments? Unless of course you are wanting a PC for more than just gaming.

I have to call crap on WoW running with 16mb integrated graphics, and if you are saying it did you turn everything on low and lowest resolution and ran around staring at the ground.

look at benchmarks, right now there really is no advantage of having DDR3. Save your money and go with DDR2 and put the $$$ you save toward SLI video cards.

Wow, i'm suprised Painballz has not replied to this, attempting to infect all of us with hermititis.

PC gaming is not going anywhere though, they are way too many people that enjoy pc games such as myself, and as long as they are MMO fans, RTS fans and mouse/keyboard fans all will be well.

if you really think it will be another 10 years before sony releases the ps4, then i must stand and laugh. I give it 5 more years tops before we see the next sytems for both sony and MS. Will they continue to support the ps3 for another 10 years, most certainly.
