Ok, so my friend and I pretty much built our computer at the same time, he went AMD I went Intel. He got a 9600gt I got a 9800gtx. Now he is getting the cursed nvlddmkm error and we have tried everything just about. I on the other hand have been lucky enough not to have any issues as of yet.

We have tried several different version of Nvidia Drivers, we have manually set timers/voltage for his Ram. We have booted up in safe mode and ran Driver Cleaner, plus we manually removed nvlddmkm.sys and replace it with a newer version. NOTHING seems to work. I have read countless pages upon pages of people having this problem with both nvidia and ati cards. So is this a Vista issue or perhaps a hardware issues somewhere along the line?

Has anyone at all managed to fix this problem with some off the wall fix that we may have not thought of? Any help at all would be more than appreciated.

Resident Evil

I was doing ok, until the part where you start to head down the hall and those zombie dogs comes running around the corner at what seemed like lightning speed. I almost wet myself.

As I own all 3 I could care less, but if I didn't I would have to say.

FFXIII for 360 / NG2 for PS3 / Zelda for 360 or PS3 (imagine what they could do with zelda if it was on a more powerful system /dreams) GoW for PS3 / Little big planet for 360.

that is stupid and further explains why I do not and never will like the MGS series. Make a F***ing movie already and be done with it. 90min cutscenes is lame and the only reason MGS4 fills up a blu-ray.

Even if this is false MGS will still have ridiculously long cut-scenes. I say at least 20-30min long or more. Which again is stupid for a video game.

WoW is $15/month and xbox live is a little different than a MMO.

LoL I dont think that :p and yes my friends PC plays everything else, its just Crysis that gives him the "you graphics driver has stopped working" fault. Well this might sound like a no-no, but have you maybe tried a older driver just too see?

Is everything inside your Nvidia Control Panel set to "Program controlled"? like all your AA and AF and stuff?

I doubt any of this has anything to do with it, but figured its all worth a try.
