What worries me most about 1999 mode is the no ammo vending machine trophy that goes with it. I avoided buying ammo on my first playthrough on hard to get myself ready for it, and there were a couple of spots where I completely drained my weapons.
Hopefully a better understanding of the game will help me get through it.
@strawberry9 You don't actually see Anna in the crib in the after-credits ending, though. I think whether she's in the cot or not is up to interpretation, similar to the idea with the spinning top at the end of that film Inception.
The big wigs at EA are idiots. They may understand business, but they don't understand videogames. Forcing in pre-requisites like 'must have multiplayer', and 'must have more action' only strangles the creative process that can make a game special.
Then, of course, when sales are less than expected, the blame falls on the developers, not on the higher ups that were pushing them in the wrong direction.
Wow, good move, Ubisoft. Delay a finished game so its release can co-incide with the the most anticipated game of the year. GTA5 owns September. Every other game should be getting it's release pushed back or forward to avoid it.
@Andrex1212 If videogames are the only thing stopping you from assaulting random people on the street, then I think you might have some issues. And frankly, arguments like that are what will make people who don't undersstand videogames think we're all tilting on the edge of destruction.
