Oh? Did Rage also looked like a blatant rip-off of Borderlands? Considering borderlands is cell shaded and focus on more RPG elements im going to say no. Other then the wasteland theme and being a FPS they had nothing in common.
It always cracks me up when people cry about the price of a game. Do you realize the budget of some of the mainstream console and pc titles and that if they dont sell nearly 2 million copies at about a $50 dollar price point they could actually lose money on the game? If you want cheap crap go play IOS games.
I still like my boxed copys , I think one reason the PC adopted it so fast is nobody wants to buy those clunky boxes that are about twice as thick as a tradional console case. The only time i would embrace it is on a portable system.
Well considering David Jaffe is going focus on IOS games I wouldnt worry about it. He hasnt made anything decent since GOW1 and in my opionion it was probably the worst one even with the PSP titles eclipsing it. My choice would be Peter Monilyux who alwas says hes going to revolutinize a genre and then he releases a mediocre fable game.
After seeing the Vita and the 3DS at a gamespot i can confirm that I would never buy a 3DS over the Vita. The screen quality alone on the Vita is so much better and that is a big deal to me. There is not one game on the 3ds that the Vita couldnt do better.
Microsoft spends there money on Kinect Shovelware and making sure every COD commercial you see has a Xbox logo at the end of it. it's a smart way to deal with the average American consumer which in most cases needs to be told what to buy. Hell look at the rate the I-Phone 4S is selling even though the actualy upgrade over the 4 is minimal at best. Sony's strategys may not be the best for making money but they sure have done a good job appealing to the gamers. I hope they can turn things around without selling out . But it looks like next gen I will probalby leave the next Xbox on the shelf.

Same could be said about the 3DS, bit honestly the games are good but yes more need to come out as the list is alittle lackluster. However it did take months for any decent 3DS games to come out, Vita is just launching so I have hopes that some awesome games will come out. The 3DS is going to have some good games( I already want RE:Revelations) but I cant help thinking any game the 3DS does the PSVITA could do better. When comparing them at the local gamespot the screen quality on the Vita is so far beyond the 3DS and thats a big deal to me.
