Wind Waker is one of the best, if not the best, Zelda games. The game is very polished. It also returns to the exploration factor that really hasn't been done since the first Zelda. The only complaint, and it's minor, was having to play the little song every time I wanted to change the direction of the wind. On the plus side, you can probably pick this up for $20 or less. Twilight Princess is good, but it's a "more of the same" title. It's pretty linear, and IMO it's pretty boring graphically. It's a game worth owning, but I hope the next Zelda game isn't like TP.

I don't know why someone wouldn't still buy the Premium. The Elite is a joke. HDMI is a negligable difference for the vast majority and $179 more for a bigger HD is ridiculous.

I don't know if this works, but I would think it would if you connect to the internet using dial-up networking. If you buy the Wii USB WiFi thing (rip-off if you have broadband), you should be able to connect your WIi.

Online gaming support
It seems to me that this is being released. Yes, it should've been available at launch with many currently released titles having online gaming. However, it seems silly to scream about Nintendo needing online when they already plan for games (being released this year) to include it.

Original content on the VC
It'd be cool. But, it's definitely not a make or break the system issue. I think it'd be awesome if Nintendo updated some of the older games and added an achievements type system to it. It'd be cool for say, Super Mario Bros to have achievements for beating the game without warping, beating the game under X time, beating the game without dying. It'd allow the life of the VC games to live off of a little more than the Nostalgia factor.

The use of Mii in more games
Yeah, right now there's not much point to them. It'd be nice if some games started taking advantage of them as well as them being your online avatar. If Nintendo has a firends list, it could "skin" your Mii to the game you're currently playing online. Like, if you're playing Metroid online, it'd put your Mii in a Samus suit (of your favorite color) and if someone selected your Mii it'd jump them to the server where you're playing (provided there's room).

Frequency of big titles and original franchises
Definately. I don't know if Nintendo itself can release big title more frequently, but it'd be nice if Nintendo put a little more focus in original IP. My biggest compliant is the 3rd party developers porting a game and slapping on some piss poor controls. Hopefully, this will occur less often in the future since developers will (again hopefully) be spending more time on the development of Wii titles.

Intuitive gameplay experiences
This, IMO, is where Wii developers need to put their focus. They need to focus a lot more on the controls when they're developing games. What's the point of using the remote to race when I tip it on it's side and the only way it's different from playing a game on the NES is a little bit of tilting? How about my nunchuck works as a steering wheel and the remote is used to shift?

It might be true, if no new Wii games were to be released. Good new games will keep people coming back. And this statement is just silly:

But how many of those people who are hooked on Wii Sports will also buy Wii Need For Speed?

A lot of the games in development, as well as some currently available, appeal to casual gamers the same way WIi Sports does.

Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Surfing, Paintballing, Bikingcoonana
How does biking work? Skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing seem like they'd play similarly. Paintball would actual be a pretty good use of the Miis. Especially, if it came with a simple level editor. It would actually be pretty cool if it was setup so each player was able to place X number of objects at the start. It'd need online with TDM and CTF modes. Figure you can tilt the remote to lean. B could be for crouching, Z for crawling, A for shooting. A remote movement could simulate a reload.

Also, I hate to say this, but it would honestly be too hard to create a control scheme for the Sixaxis or 360 controller. There's just too many functions and things to do.dgsag
I really don't see the controller as a limitation. It just requires a different control scheme. Anything you do ingame could pretty easily be down from a wheel-selection type-menu. Wouldn't take much to go right, up, left + button to cast spell abc. The "chat' part would have to be something where you had canned options and if you were part of a group you could voice chat.

Why wouldn't you trade it? The trade in value of the PS3 alone could get you another Wii plus games/controllers. Hell, you might even be able to do the Wii60 thing off the trade in.
