But you know all of the Halo games on the 360 so far look largely the same. SO, we already kind of do know what to expect :D
I would have to go with Bioshock or Batman: Arkham Asylum because of my first impression of them. I remember being blown away the first time I saw Rapture.
However, I also remember thinking Batman looked overtly ripped lol.
For those who folowed the last thread, my dad is giving me a $1,000 budget for a PC, but he won't let me build it myself. So, i've worked around that, and I'm going to get one custom built at Fry's, or a local place in Dallas, depending on who has a better price. Okay, so, it will be a gaming rig primarily. What do you guys recommend for parts? I have traditionally gone with mainly ASUS and EVGA. Keep in mind I also have to have enough left over for a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (because I have been using consoles exclusively for a while because of college).
Freelancer made any bad day at school or a rainy night so much better. It is the source of many hours of dreaming from me. I'm building a computer for Christmas, and I'm making it a point to install this on my new system.
I do hope they make the combat in Mass Effect 2 a little more dynamic. I loved Mass Effect, but if I actually step back and analyze it, there wasn't a whole lot to most of the fights.

Exactly my stance. Mass Effect was an incredible game (I'm a huge sci-fi geek), but the combat system was just targeting Geth and shooting them with augmented bullets until they died.
Yeah, maybe he was thinking of something different. I like both games quite a bit, and I absolutely cannot wait for Mass Effect 2. Is the combat system supposed to be similar to the first one?
[QUOTE="UT_Wrestler"]2. Stating opinions as facts is equally annoying.Palantas
3. The role-playing elements of KOTOR have much more depth than that of Mass EffectUT_Wrestler
You should probably elaborate on point three.
Mass Effect has several decisions that must be made in regards to what weapon you will use, but the fights are essentially corridor shoot outs. KOTOR uses a semi-turn based engine where you must think a few steps ahead, especially in the later fights on high difficulty settings. Mass effect on insanity just gives your enemies a lot of health and immunity to your shots.
I'm sorry to tell all of you Star Wars KOTOR fans that Mass Effect is way better than KOTOR. I'm not saying that KOTOR isn't a good game because it was a very good game with all the cool *** lightsabers and force powers you couldn't go wrong, but Mass Effect had characters that actually seemed real and all of the weapons and level ups you had made the game fun as **** and the armors and game add-ons made this easily the best Bioware console game. Bioware and Ubisoft two best game designers
A few things 1. Large text is annoying, makes it look like you're shouting. 2. Stating opinions as facts is equally annoying. 3. The role-playing elements of KOTOR have much more depth than that of Mass Effect, so using the "all of the weapons and level ups you had" as a reason why mass effect is better isfactually inaccurate If we combined our arguments against him we cannot fail! :D 4. There is no need for vulgar words when describing how much you like two games. 5. Mass Effect was a fantastic game for the way it was told. However, Star Wars had the benefit of being steeped in a rich world of lore and tradition. Therefore, the quests seemed to have more meaning for any person with even the slightest interest in Star Wars.
so if i put my hdd on a new system i would get banned again?and the retrive feature dosent ask for a mail and a password?as i have completly forgoten these

Live bans can be either user or console specific. If it's user specific, your gamertag is just SOL (including your gamerscore and all achievements earned). If it's console specific, it means they have only banned the specific console you are using (generally for hardware modifications Live detects).
