Resident Evil 7 means I'm getting into VR sooner rather than later.

• SPIDERMAN (from Insomniac)
• RESIDENT EVIL 7
• Death Stranding (Kojima's game)
• Crash Bandicoot collection (1-2 and Warped)
• VR stuff (FFXV thing, some Batman thing)
• Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

I don't know why people are doubting Insomniac, but that trailer's been confirmed as in-game footage.

I don't think we'll be seeing much of KH3 until 2.8 is out.

It's not. You can play through the entire game in VR, but it's not forced on the player.

Of course, a horror story is only as frightening as its setting, and Resident Evil 7 pays tribute to the franchise’s origins on this front as well. Resident Evil 7 is set after the events of Resident Evil 6, taking place in modern day and revolving around a foreboding, derelict plantation mansion in rural America. Players must explore and survive the horrors within the mysterious, sprawling estate.

Game's out January 24th 2017.

A different direction for the franchise, but it looks excellent. Can't wait to take the demo for a spin.
