[QUOTE="DrFish62"]When GameSpot was redesigned, blog integration across all of the CNET sites was done purposely. I don't like it either, but I don't see it changing anytime soon.Dracula68
I also don't like it but I think all these sites are tied in such a way that trying to fix this would likely mess other things up(BTW, I know nothing of coding and such---just a guess on my part)
@DrFish62: Yeah and I know exactly why it was done. It makes it look like those other sites have a bunch of people using the site, for marketing purposes. I'm on the fence about it. On one side I'm like you and don't like it but on the other I'm all for making money so whatever. I'm not asking them to change that I'm asking for us to be able to block our blogs from being viewed on one site and not the others. Right now it's all or nothing. You either have the three sites show or not. As I discoverd last night MP3.com allows you to hide your profile without any effect on GameSpot, MovieTome or TV.com. All I want is to be able to do that with the other sites individualy.
@Dracula68: I'm not much better than you, I know just enough to be dangerous. It would be pretty easy to hide blog window information without removing it. I have no idea what doing what Phaz suggested would take but it still sounds like a great idea. What I've started doing temporarily is changing the text color on the MovieTome and TV.com sites to white making it more difficult to read. The fact that the blog type shows in a different default color on those sites demonstrates that some separation is possible.
