looks more like this take place during halo 2 not 3 if its any help...which is why i dont understand why bungie mentioned halo 3 in the teaser.
its still running within Halo 3, right? They wouldnt say Halo 2 in it...People would be like, "I played that 4 years ago..." Anyway, for all we know this game does stretch into the halo 3 timeline....all im hoping is that they dont end up calling it halo3:"input subtitle"
view it as Half Life: Opposing Force in a way. It's a different pespective.
Judging by the art ****it goes for (which doesn't look good enough to cg and very achievable on the 360) its most definately a seperate entity.
Seeing as how bungie essentially got crap about halo 3's graphics (even though in reality they're some of the top when you compare textures, lighting, clearness, and detail) id imagine theyll give us something to shut the complainers up
I know for fact one thing- it's going to be frucking amazing. It is Halo afterall made by undisputably one of the best game developers out there and the best imo. Halo is the most polished game i played though, that's more so on the factual side (there really isn't prevalent glitches or things that just seem wrong in the games at all- everything is by design)
Back towards when halo 2 was announced, everyone wanted to see the earth. It was said to be overpopulated and whatnot. You were on it for like 3 levels in halo 2 and you never really saw these sci-fi cities they talked about.
This game was said to be in development since halo 3 started, go figure- they based it off what people wanted halo 2 to do.
