Having to require tips on what to do until the release of some game has confirmed my suspicions that society really has tanked further than I had originally thought. Back in my day we did something called living. Kids these days probably have never heard the word before but I assure you it's quite fun and rewarding. Yes, better than game achievements.
I believe even the Wii had struggles out of the gate. They should've waited until after the other systems launched, then at least they'd have more games and be a cheaper alternative. Now it looks like a cheap and useless alternative.
Nintendo's problem is that they sometimes try to create something new and different when it's completely unnecessary . In the case of the Wii U, they thought the console itself would sell without a decent library of games. I was thinking about buying a Wii U, but with shit for games, there's no point.
If they were operating like it's 1990, they'd have the most powerful console on the market. The problem is that now they no longer care about hardware specs as they did back in the days of the SNES. That console had a lot of innovative features in both hardware and software.
Personally, I think Nintendo should look to indie developers and ditch the mainstream generic trash that does nothing more than churn out the same shit every year.
These are the kinds of games that I enjoy seeing. I rarely play any of my modern games anymore. When you get home from a hard day at work, the last thing you want to be doing is spending time on an elaborate game. I regret selling my JAMMA boards, but I guess there are alternatives. I'll be picking this one up along with Might and Magic X. I miss the classic style of dungeon crawling.
