Crysis is merely an example of improving standards, it's not a one-size-fits-all argument for being able to play something on the PC. Usually when a game comes out, you can play it. Starcraft 2 as an excellent example of this.

Imporving standards?? dude the boss at the end of Crysis was **** all it did was turn to the left and right and it let you hit it. Same thing with Crysis warhead, end boss super easy. In terms of tech like visuals and physics oh ys its great but the AI is just a sack of baby dicks.
Yes, because improving the hardware standard automatically means the game will be better gamewise.

gaming is a luxury so yes. Current Gen consoles are also holding Some developers back in terms of tech and visuals so id say its time for the next consoles to come out already, so we can all move on. Howver sony did say they were workingon the next system. I would expect 2012 or 2013.
if its stupid then why did you make this thread to talk about it, if it was stupid to compare the two and if games mattered that much to you you would just be playing your games right??
I thought UT3 was awesome, i bought it a few months ago and it was great. What is the big problem about it besides the lack of a filter for bot servers???

I used to believe he played Fallout 1 or 2 eariler but now I see he is talking from his ass. For someone who uses the term 'derp herp' a lot, he is pretty 'derp herp' himself. Then again, smile minds and amused simple things.
I have played Fallout 1 and 2 and i never finished them, as i have never finished Icewind dale 1 and 2 and a Long list of other games.

Nope, they just give you the ability to go through the game without killing anything, unlike Fallout 3.
Level scaling makes everything easier, and it makes stats matter less because everything is changed to meet your requirements. What to beat the game at level one? You can do it because everything is possible to beat at any level.
