I wouldn't bother.

Maybe this isn't helpful, but I'd personally suggest trying to get used to the mouse/keyboard. The PC version of Mass Effect 2 is tailored for that control scheme..I suspect the experience will not be very good with a controller.

I have th 360 version and plays flawlessly with a Joypad, if the dude is more comfortable with a joypad then the guy should use a joypad along with Xpadder as the other posters suggested, however i would be a little iffy abu that software how well does it emulate the controller can you still do the stick rotation mechanics or what o well what evs great game enjoy it.

It doesn't matter if you want to play with a gamepad for ME2 on PC. The entire control scheme was designed for the keyboard and mouse. Unless you want to actually control a mouse cursor for the menus and mini games, I would just recommend getting the 360 version.

the only part where i would see problems is int he 360 version when you hit the bumper buttons it pauses he game to use your ablities and or switch weapons where the player would rotae the stick to select stuff whch worked great but i could see some sort of problem with that if you tried to use a gamepad, i see what you are saing.

PC gaming is far from dead man, sometimes its hard to find people in your area that have gaming PC's like I only have one freind that has a gaming PC and he usually plays RPG's and or MMo's he has an xbox as well but that was due to my other 10 freinds all have xbox 360. Sometimes it sucks not having immediate freinds to play PC games with but Counterstrike adn TF2 all have great communities and its easy to get along with people. Plus there are funny mods and what not, so stay in there PC gaming is awesome, i play on both consoles and a PC, and PC really has its upsides.

[QUOTE="Sniping_Crowbar"]Most of these games are bad, there are only like 15 good games.ProudLarry
You know how many good console games are marked down for 50%-75% right now? Zero.

Oh and to further make you look stupid here are some console games that are marked down right now

Alan Wake: 34.47$

Gears of War: 8$

Street Fighter 4: 13$

Ninja Gaiden 2 : 6$

Ninja Gaiden : 6$

Gears of war 2: 12$

Halo 3: 8$

Halo:ODST 14$

a tiny sample of good console games that are at discount on amazon, some used some new, maybe not 50-75% but all of those there are better than 90 percent of the 700 games offered for sale. You might want to check your facts before you say random stuff and assume i am some console fanboy. Peace.

And what does console games have to do with Steam you confuse me? are suggesting becasue I said most of those games are bad and are shovelware casual games taht I somehow think console games are better, your logic fails sir, I am a gamer that plays on PC and console so your comment is stupid and earns you a fail. I did buy trine from that sale and ok yeah i over exagerated thre aren't only 15 good games on there but there are more bad games than good on that list, based on my prefferences.

It was a decent game however hee a lot fo really tedious quests, and the overall feel of the atmosphere is ok, it all takes place ina small city the entire game except for maybe the last part of the game, and you will be backtracking all over the place back and forth back and forth sometimes it gets very tedious, being able to only talk to people at certain times of the day is annoying, combat is OK but the timed combat is a little poopy at times. However The ability to mix potions is nice, the leveling and skill progression is good. The Game is decent gameplay wise, but the story is much better than the average gameplay mechanics. Most of the dialog is Ok, the voice acting is pretty funny int terms of bad, its not a very polished game but its pretty cheap and you'll spend about 40 hours through the game. Sometimes the stroy can be compromised by bad side quests AKA annoying grandma that kicks out of Shani's house all the time, and the main villian really isn't all that great. I wouldn't say its a great gmae but its a good one if you are a fan of RPG's.
