Yeah, because the original Crysis didn't include these type of battles. Have you even played Crysis 1?

I know right god forbid i run and gun because that would impy that im dumbing down a game for console kiddies, Crysis 1 was a FPS with action you fought a giant alien on a half burnt boat fr crying out load, don't listen to that guy up there he was just using stealth in a game thaqt is FPS to lengthen gameplay time becasue has no real life freinds and is a miserable elitist spouting garbage when he knows nothing about games and or the development process of games. Peace.
Well I have no problem with console shooters, but this game was designed completely differently than Crysis 1 to the point where it no longer even looks like Crysis, and Yes.. I did beat Crysis and Warhead as stated in my original post... But Crysis had HUGE open environments and you could go about almost every situation differently. So far all I've seen is small corridor battles. I guess the lack of the original jungle scene is starting to get to me. I love NY(NYC resident), but it just doesn't seem to fit the game IMO.
It not a jungle but honestly im tired of seeing Jungles and stuff in Crytek games its a nice change of scenery, besides you can still roam around on the builidngs and everything, there wasn;t much to doo in the big huge open environments of crysis 1 anyway some fo the best action was ont he smaller settings with the exceptions of the flight sequence, the ship the battle across the airstrip in warhead, but those were heavl scripted and linear parts, which there is nothing wrong with that but the openess of a game is not very appealing when all you have to look at is more poopy looking foliage and the same stupid Korean soldiers that when they swim in the water jsut sit and yell at you.

Wow... WTF happened to Crysis? A bit off topic, but now I don't really care about it. Seems like an "Action Shooter", which the original operated more around stealth, but you had the choice on how you wanted to play it. This has console game written all over it. I think I'll be passing on this 1. Makes me sad I loved Crysis and Warhead.

This is a 45-50hour game for a first time through-er. Lots of story and details to follow and figure out. If you need to be spoon fed excitement in games, you might as well quit and go play a game made for the masses.

really i only took about 21 hours, and really what is with your elitist remark, If you need "spoon fed excitement" "game for the masses" as if your level or taste in games is above other peoples, maybe they are called better games. I wouldn't call Half-life 2, Uncharted 2, Gears of war all taht stuff spoon fed, its just the nature of the type of game they are action, not everyone wants to spend 50 hours crouching around corners, if anything Deus ex was more spoon feeding interms of story, the story was bland and not exciting or climactic at all, you should try reading about a story's climax it is what usually makes good novels.
