Its a dated game the stroy is Ok at best, retty generic imho, and the combat is bad, but to be fair these were new things at the time and we just have somewhat higher standards today interms of how a game feels and plays. Its dated but its a decent game. The New deus Ex seems to bring the best of Deus ex 1 and modernize it as in makin it control better more fun, the new Deus ex already has more than 200,000 lines of conversation, more choices yadda yadda. SO all the interaction will be their but it will obviously look better and play better.

My computer monitor is a LG W2361V-PF series. A widescreen that supports HD 1080p (yes, its set for 1080p on my xbox, don't know if that matters.) I don't believe that there's any speakers built into the monitor either.

So, why is there no sound coming out of the headset when its connected to my controller? Thanks in advance.

Only voice chat comes throught the headset. If your monitor does not have speakers then that is probably why you are not hearing any sound.
