@joseph2047: You can, just sign in with your current profile onto the new 1TB PS4.
Make sure you have your current save data uploaded and your trophies will carry over as well.
I'm guessing there is a specific reason you're buying a brand new 1 TB PS4 outside of the hard-drive space need? Because you can simply upgrade the your current hard drive without buying a new console for much, much cheaper.
Here is a handy manual I do recommend you read> http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/basic/relinquish.html
I don't see it as a bad idea, I see it more as neutral co-existence. Think carefully how 3ds and "new" 3ds are on the same market. Those who want better hardware and all the enhancements that come with it will purchase the Neo (myself included) and those who are happy with their current PS4 will remain with it. After all, both console will play the same games, it's up to the individual to decide on which platform to play it on.
Personally, I see it as a option and choice. Since when was that a bad thing?
Little late to the party, I also haven't picked up the fourth installment simply because I'm busy with other backlog of games I'm still waiting to finish.. In due time, my friend already got the copy so eventually, I will get around. ;p
The XB1 has it and it works fine, the PS4 needs to have it too, none of this paid service BS.
I'm sorry, how long has the PS4 been out for? Why is this a news to you after 2+ years? Maybe actually researching on the console before spending money might be better then complain about a design that has been forthcoming months before the PS4 was released.
If you wish to play games on the PS3 then buy the PS3. If you want a BC with Xbox One, then buy that console and play it.
Personally, being informed about something that costs 400$ before hand is even better. Do your research.. Instead of useless complaining..
@trugs26: Sounds advice, appreciate it. Me and my wife usually battle 2 vs 2 online or Smash with family and friends so it's not bad really. I didn't know it's peer-to-peer connection... You would think there would be proper servers for such a important and demanding fighting game.
We will try with no items tonight, see if that helps with stability.
@Ackbar: It's pretty simple and don't worry I have friends from all over the world. :P
1. To add Friends, select (Friends) from the main screen (PS4 XMB menu)
2. Enter the online ID (In this case Sokol4ever)
3. Select (Add Friend) and send a request.
