You need to have 9.5mm or smaller (laptop size), 2TB is the most common. From the Sony customer service I spoken with and in their manual 5400rpm is recommended although I have friends with 1TB 7200rpm and without problems. Personally, I went with manufacturing recommend (5400rpm)

My current model I recommend to everyone: Spinpoint M9T http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Spinpoint-2-5-Inch-Internal-ST2000LM003/dp/B00MPWYLHO?ie=UTF8&keywords=2tb%20ps4%20hard%20drive&qid=1464200416&ref_=sr_1_5&sr=8-5

Works without issues.

Sad to hear it bud, my 60GB model still runs but that's only because I use it for blu-ray and streaming movies in our living room. I did notice it gets pretty hot if I leave it ON for long period of time. I'm still surprised its lasting as long.

@lordwiesy: I think it's a good choice. You have access to numerous PS1, PSP and PSVita games in your palm. In your case you haven't played that many so you're going to enjoy many, many titles.

I would also recommend higher memory card and if you can grab the PS+ membership.

Games I recommend PS Vita only:

- Little Big Planet, Uncharted : Golden Abyss, Soul Sacrifice, Persona 4, (and Persona 4 dancing all night), Gravity Rush, Killzone Mercenary, Wipeout 2048, Zero Escape: Virtue Last Reward, Final Fantasy X /X-2 remastered, Child of Light, Rayman Origins, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (My favorite),

That should get you started, also look into amazing PS1 library and don't forget the PSP games as well.

Nice, its much cheaper as well. Me and my wife tried playing online with some Smash Brothers and we had annoying lagg spikes. Mind you my wifi is pretty stable with 50up/15down and none of my other electronics have any issues.

I'm little over 120up/25 down on my wired connection where I have zero problems. Hopefully the usb network adapters stabilizes the online connection.

Seems like I didn't pay attention and didn't realized that Wii U doesn't have a Ethernet port for my wired Internet connection. Is there an alternative ?

I have the Wi-Fi connected and it seems to work normally. I just prefer wired connection for stability purpose.

The battery should had been little better however overall it's the best PS controller so far. It feels and controls excellent. Big improvement over the last three generations.

It's interesting, I have been gaming on both the PC and Console since the early 90's and to be honest both systems have given me many, many years of enjoyment. For the most part however I have shifted more towards consoles. The reason being is simple - time and simplicity. Mind you I have no problems fiddling with my PC that I have comfortably put together many times however my personal busy life is one of the major factors where I simply just need a game to work when I press a button. There is also the cost of maintaining the PC, now if you shop smartly it's not that bad however I simply decided not to invest into both eco-system .

As for which one is better that depends on each individual. If you're looking for a specific answer that will convince you to play on PC or Console only - that won't happen.

Both are valuable , it only comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I love The Witcher 3 visually. It has stunning weather effects and lighting. Gorgeous game.

If you have played previous Uncharted games, I would recommend Uncharted 4 otherwise it's up to you really.
