well first of all here are my specs...( yeah i know Prehistoric pc lol )

p4p800-e deluxe

p4 3.0ghz

2gb ram corsair xms550

ati radeon x800pro

windows xp sp3

ok now my question is this...

when i play day of defeat source i can play

all maxed out, motion blur on, hdr on, aa4x, fa16x at 1600x1050res with average 22fps ( between 10and35 )

or i can play

all at minimum, no motion blur, no hdr ,no aa etc at 800x600 and guess what ???

yeah still average of maybe 22-25 ( between 10 and 40 aprox )

so why is it i get no performance difference all maxed out or all at minimum ???

is it cpu bottlenecking or something else ?

thx in advance for your answers :)

wow i was just cheking this website...

http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24824

how do you know its for 1000 cpu's ?

apparently the nehalem 2.66ghz would only be 284$ ???

i dont think it can be the good prices cause the

INTEL Core2 Quad Q9450 / 2.66GHz / 1333MHz / LGA775 is 356.95$

so a new more powerfull processor would be cheaper than this one ? wow

SolidSnakeJT

That price is for 1,000 CPU's. It will probably cost around 300-350 on newegg and such.

How do you know its for 1000 cpu's ( sry for double post it was written at wrong place lol )
