Oh and also, would I be able to transfer the data from my old 360 hard drive to the elite's hard drive?TheGTAvaccine

I am not sure about the whole trade in thing but I do know you can transfer your data from the 20 to the 120. When you get your Elite fill out the form for a transfer cable from Microsoft and they will send you the transfer cable for free.

Here is the link to the form http://assets.xbox.com/en-us/support/MigrationKit-OrderForm.pdf

I think I know where I went wrong. I think I shouldn't have did the gamertag recover on the 120 GB hard drive and just waited for the cable, I guess I was just overly excited about getting the Elite and wasn't thinking straight. So far I am almost done re-recovering my gamertag back to the 20 GB hard drive. I just hope that anything I have done so far won't mess with me transferring my data to the 120 GB hard drive.

[QUOTE="Spiritgod"]I just bought an Elite a couple of days ago. Without thinking about it I recovered my gamertag to the new hard drive. Then after I did that I called MS and they are sending me a transfer cable to switch out data from the 20 to the 120 hard drive. So in the meantime I wanted to play Bioshock, so I started playing on the 20 GB hard drive. Now it says my Live account isn't valid, I am guessing because of the gamertag recover. My question is can I re-recover my gamertag to the 20 GB hard drive? And if I can will it hurt me using the 120 hard drive when the cable comes in the mail?Packt

Call them again and ask?

They aren't open right now. I was wanting to play Bioshock right now that is why I asked in here.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I really didn't know what to search for.

My question is, is there a way to stream both audio from HDMI and the red and white (RCA) cables from my PS3. I only see the audio output that lets you choose one or the other but I wanted to do both?

I guess I should explain my reasons. Well I have a surround sound set up and while I play games or watch movies most of the time I will have the audio set up on surround sound, but not all the time. Sometimes I like just having the audio come from my TV and only the TV. So is there anyway to set up both cables without having to go through the audio settings on the PS3?

if my 360 breaks and i get a new one does best buy let you keep your old hard drive and if notand i had xbl on my old drive can i still get the same account on the new one or how does that work?JopaGeri

I know nothing about Bestbuy's return policy, but I would assume they wouldn't let you keep the hard drive, but I don't know. As for the xbox live account question, yes. All you have to do is recover your gamertag, it will transfer over you score and a few other things except game saves and everything on the hard drive, you have to transfer over all the data to the new hard drive yourself.

Thank god. I have no idea when the transfer cable is coming in but I sure didn't want to wait however long it was going to take to play Bioshock. Thanks for answering my post.

I just got an Elite two days ago, it feels good to have a working 360 again. I contacted Microsoft and they are sending me the transfer cable. I have already put my gamertag on the new 120 GB hard drive. So my question is, can I take my old hard drive and attach it to the Elite and play Bioshock? I don't want to play Bioshock on the new hard drive yet because when I start the transfer between hard drives it will delete everything on the 120 GB and then put all my game saves from the 20 GB to the 120. Sorry if this question is confusing, basically I want to play Bioshock and I am wondering if I can still use my 20 GB hard drive from my old 360 on my Elite?

[QUOTE="Spiritgod"]I don't really hate any of my games but if I had to pick two then it would be PDZ and GoW. PDZ just wasn't that interesting to me, the graphics were pretty good but the game play wasn't there for me. Gears of War would have been a lot better if it were longer, I felt like I got cheated because I beat the game in under eight hours. And I have no idea what the big deal is with GoW, I mean I liked playing the game but I am not fully in love with it. Everyone I talk to looks at me with an utter shock look when I tell them that GoW was alright and not THE GREATEST GAME TO GRACE MY CONSOLE!!!! skatefreak89

There was a thing called multiplayer in GoW

I played it online a couple of times and I thought it sucked.
