Okay guys. Oblivion is a big game. If it would come to the PSP anytime soon, we would know. Using my enormous brain power, I figure it isn't coming out at all. It would be a weird dungeon crawler with almost nothing in common with oblivion, gameplay wise. So if you want to sit and wait for proof, I reckon you're gonna have to wait a long long time. It's dead, it wouldn't be great anyways, it has ceased to be, it's pushing up the daisies, it's an ex-game. But you go ahead and wait for it, it's a free world, isn't it?gregga86

To me this has nothing to do with the game, I just hate it when people say something is official or they say something but can't provide proof. And then when you ask for the proof they have this attitude of, "too many links or can't remember where I saw it last", if you can't provide proof of what you are talking about then maybe you shouldn't be posting it to begin with. I have my doubts as well of an Oblivion game actually coming to PSP, regardless of the news from a year ago but you have a person saying that they cancelled it but doesn't give any information besides he saw it on a website that he can't seem to remember where he saw it. And to make it worse he wants everyone else to provide proof that it's still in production, I mean come on people. Who makes a post when they can't provide any form of proof and then your defensive is, "well wheres your proof?", I don't think I made this post so why should I give you anything.

You keep telling everyone to prove that this game isn't cancelled but you won't show any proof that this game is canned? That doesn't make sense. First you show proof, and yes I know it's more work to find the information than to just type out a few paragraphs on a game forum but still put a little effort to support your claims or don't post at all.

I bought the add on before all this talk about whos out selling who. To be honest I don't care who wins, it's me the consumer who will rip the benefits in the long run, I am just hoping a price war on both formats hits soon.

Thank you everyone for understanding me. What game do you all think I should play on the PC to get over this fear, because like everyone is meantioning I need to get over it. I've heard the best way to get over being scared is by confronting it head on, so any recommendations on what to do, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am also very sorry to everyone I offended, I was completely in the wrong to post what I did. Please forgive me for the comments that I have made. I regret posting this topic, and I thank everyone on this forum for helping me in the past, and hopefully helping me in the future if you would just forgive me.

I am so very sorry.

I don't think you really offended anyone, well at least you didn't offend me. I think you just wanted to know why people like disturbing and scary games. You may have overreacted a little but their isn't a single person on here who hasn't.

If I were to play a few scary games on the PC then I would go with Manhunt, Condemned, and Resident Evil 4 but thats just me.

Sorry for the the original topic post, I guess I overreacted a bit. I was just getting fed up with everyone talking about these games like Bioshock. I do not care who you are, that little girl gave me the creeps ;). Yes, I do get frightenened very easily and no I am not a hardcore christian. I wouldn't say I was sheltered, I just have only seen one scary movie I can recall and that freaked me out for a whole month (Resident evil 1).

I guess I can see how those games can send you on a journey, and I guess the scaryness of it draws you in. Please do not get angry at me, I am not putting anyone down, and I am starting to understand the view point of these games a little better. I guess I just need to go out and watch as many scary movies as I can so I can get ammunied to it:P. I really appreciate everyones viewpoint on this. Thank you all for the replies.

PS: how did you not find that zombie level in half life 2 a little disturbing :?.

ConfusedZone

I wouldn't say I got angry by your post, I just thought you went a little over board with the whole re-installing windows comment. It is alright for someone to not like a certain type of game, I think some of us thought you were the kind of person who finds that disturbing video games need to be banned and to be honest we have way too many people in this world that think like that. People who can't see past the violence tend to not care about what the game is truly about, just because a game has gore or disturbing elements doesn't mean that the game doesn't have an excellent story behind it. If your not into the whole disturbing video games that's fine, like I said before to each their own.

From the many employees at gamestop that I have met I would have to say that most are helpful and nice. Most of the ones that I would rather get hit in the balls than talk to either get fired for saying or doing something stupid are don't like working there to begin with so they quit. The gamestop near me has one of the coolest managers I have ever met, me and him actually talked for a good amount of time on some of the cool new games coming out and even though he isn't up to date with everything he still was very well informed of the majority of my questions. I really think it depends on where you live but to be honest almost every store is bound to have a Smart *** or jerk working for them and gamestop is no different.

I think you're overreacting. Please tell me your joking on the whole re-installing windows just because a game disturbed you. I know games like Manhunt, Condemned and Bioshock are disturbing to some people but thats why some games are meant for some people while others are meant for others. Yes there are others like you that don't like certain games like the ones you stated but there are other people out there that don't like Mario or Zelda because they think they are too cute. To each their own.

The 90s certainly were something. Even though I started my gaming life in 1986 - 87 the 90s is where I have the most unforgetable memories of me gaming. I still remember the many add ons to the Sega Genesis.

Im pretty sure with the success its been getting MS will be more then happy to pay 2k and Irrational to keep it exclusive. The game could end up being a pretty solid system seller.Cali3350

Yeah, but you could say the same thing about Oblivion as well. And I believe Irrational could make more money by bringing it out for the PS3 than MS could pay to keep it an exclusive, that is why I think it is a timed exclusive. Everyone can say what they will but I can almost guarantee that we will see Bioshock some time next year on the PS3.
