lets just say it doesnt have the 'only on xbox 360' tag on the cover...i dont think.

russians_r_sexy

That's because it is also on PC, you can't slap a 360 only tag on a game if it is on another platform.

I will try and find where I read this at but supposedly Bioshock is a timed exclusive. That it will eventually come out on the PS3 but it didn't say when.

[QUOTE="Elementguy13"]The people who work in electronics at my walmart are retards, literally. One chews on their shirt mumbling and the other one laughs when nobody is talking to her, I get an exorsist esq feelfrom walmart... oo I got goose bumps now. lolwiiforever25

a

lol, mine are all lazy bums.. just stand their all silent and dont ask you, "may i help you"

you know why they dont say it to everyone, its because customers are axxholes who turn into 8 year olds when walmart doesnt have something they want, like its the employees fault when they run out of something.

That is so true but I don't think it's just Walmart, most places have the same customers. I love the look on some peoples faces when we don't have something. Like I had this family come up to me and ask me a question that I answer about a 10 times a day and when I told them we don't sell that specific item they gave me this look like the end of the world was coming. OMG walmart doesn't carry this one thing, it must be the Apocalypse!!!

[QUOTE="Spiritgod"]I have been a 360 owner since launch. I have had four 360s each with their own problem. The one I have now has had it's issues but nothing I couldn't work around, except for now. My 360s GPU is going out, meaning I will be in need of a new 360. My first thought was to get an Elite with a extended warranty. This isn't, please help me make my mind up on getting a new 360, I will be getting one sooner or later. Is there a special manufacturing date I should be looking for with certain 360s? I hear that getting a 360 that was manufactured closer to todays date was a much better move than getting one manufactured at the beginning of the year, can anyone confirm? I just don't want any problems out of this one because if I get a new one and it breaks or messes up then that is it, I will prompt to get a new one through MS but I will no longer buy another 360.Ballroompirate

If you been through four 360's im guessing the problem is with the user/gamer not the console whether it be trying to mod it/self upgrading it,putting it in a area that the 360 cant vent or overheat or hitting it.I have to say if you do plan to look for a better quality 360 the elite should be up there since it rarely has manufacture problems.

Let me guess, you think i dunk my console in water or something because it's overheating? There is nothing wrong with the way I take care of my consoles, I keep all of my consoles in a highly vented area, the temperature in the room I keep them in is always 62 degrees. I take better care of my consoles then most people do with themselves so don't give me any crap about it's my fault. Oh and by the way I have never tried to take apart, mod or any other form of dismembering my console because that would void the warranty and I don't want to give MS any reason to say it's my fault my 360 breaks. But would you really like to know why I have had four? Because my first was a launch console that wouldn't play Oblivion so I sent it in , then I was given a second which the disc tray wouldn't open and it wouldn't turn off, so I sent that one in to get yet another one and that one ended up dieing on me with the red ring of death in less than a week. Now I have another one and in less than a year the GPU is dieing. So tell me again how that's my fault?

I hate it when people always assume it's the owners fault when you see such a high failure rate. You do know MS can make mistakes right?

[QUOTE="Spiritgod"][QUOTE="Myshuno"]

Glad that you've solved your problem!

But, isn't your 360 covered under Microsoft's extended warrenty? Or is your case not covered because it's not the "3 flashing lights"?

Myshuno

No it hasn't red ringed yet and I am not sure if it will. My 360 is having some GPU problems and it really messes with the game play so I figure I will keep my old one around for backups or anything besides gaming and get a Elite. My warranty has been up for almost 8 months now, and I am not paying to get this hunk of crap repaired.

But Microsoft just extended its warrenty to three years, so you should be covered. I'll just assume that you can't get it fixed because this extended warrenty only coveres red-ringed consoles, yes?

You could always try selling your old one, though I'm not sure how morally good that would be.

Yeah my 360 isn't covered because it hasn't red ringed. And plus I would love to have the HDMI port and the extra HD space that I desperately need. And no I would never do that to anyone, I can't in good conscience sell something that I know to be faulty.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you can only sell it to them used. I think the game has to be defective in order for you to return it but then I think they make you exchange it for the same game well that is unless they don't have any more copies of GoW, then I don't know.

Both the Elites and the new Premiums that have just hits store not only both have HDMI, but they both use the 'Zephyr' hardware revision. This revision is the one after the one used at launch which has all of the problems but it is the one before 'Falcon', which uses the 65nm chips. There have not really been any reports on Elites failing, so the 'Zephyr' revision improvements must have really helped. Since the new premiums that have hit stores use this same hardware configuration, then they are a better bet as well. However, the 'Falcon' revision with the cooler running 65nm chips will be hitting stores any time now. So you could wait. Personally, I don't care since the 3 year warranty has me covered. If mine does break down, I will get the newest revision for free. If you look on the box where it says what country the unit was made in (for example, 'Hardware made in China', 'Disc Drive made in Taiwan'), it will say Zephyr in the same area (on the box). You then know for sure you have that revision. I assume it will say 'Falcon' when that hit stores to. Here's a link to a picture of what I'm talking about.

Thanks man! As for the one who said that I should just get a premium with the hdmi, sorry but I really want the 120 gigs right now. I have had to delete so much stuff off my old 360 just because I didn't have enough room, so I figure getting the elite would be cheaper than getting a premium and then buying the extra 120 gig HD or at least it would be easier from my point of view. But thanks for the advice.

I hate this I went into gamestation last week andI was standing there watching the PS3 gametrailers and GTA4 was playing, this sales guy comes upto a teenager next to me and says "thats the new GTA4 you know?and it's exclusive to the PS3have you got one?" so boy says"no but Im getting one now"I couldnt breath I left before my head exploded.boyinfridge

LOL, what is with people at some of these stores? It's like sony is paying them to sell sony merchandise. The same thing happened to me at Bestbuy. I was standing in the game section when an employee came up to me and started talking about the then not yet released PS3. He told me all about how sony was implementing a HD-DVD drive to compete with MS and how the PS3's processor (which he didn't know was called the Cell) was 10 times faster than MS 360. I swear to god I wanted to hurt this guy because one he was wasting my time and two he had no idea what he was talking about.
