The other day my mom went to a bunch of yard sales (which till this point I have found useless), and at one of them she found a Nintendo 64 in perfect condition, with 2 controllers, 3 games, and a jumper pack, so she got it for me and the crazy thing was that it was only $20, suckers! And also the 3 games were ToyStory 2 (which I'll probably just sell), Super Mario 64, and Donkey Kong 64, 2 great platforming classics, and I can't wait to start playing them. But unfortunately at the time my mom didn't realize that there wasn't any A/V cables with it so when we brought it home we found out the A/V cables for my GC are compatible with the N64, which was surprising, so everything turned out great. Also instead of ordering Jade Cocoon I'm going to order The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, which im physced to play. And also, the people voted and I'm going to be writing a blog about SquareEnix, and that will probably be my next blog, which I'll probably get out within a week.

Gaming Updates Vol. 3
by SquareEnixFan13 on Comments
Well I'm about done with the Sly Cooper series, I'm going to beat last one tommorrow most likely. After I'm done with Sly I'm going to finish up FinalFantasy X, and then move onto POP: The Sands of time, and then OverLord. Also I'm getting a little bit of money soon so I'll probably get Eternal Sonata, Final Fantasy Anthology, and Jade Cocoon for PSX, but I have no idea when I'll actually play them, so for those of you who have played any of those how long is each one? I've been wanting to get Xbox Live in order to download games onto my 360, but that's about it, I don't want to play with other peopleover Live, I can't stand some of those idiots. Also I'm going to be trying to get out a Bitter Gamer blog within like a week or so, either about Survival games or Square Enix, which one would you guys want more? Please reply.

Gaming updates Vol. 2
by SquareEnixFan13 on Comments
Well, I know I said in my last blog that I was going to get Mass Effect, and Eternal Sonata with the extra money I was getting but it didn't go that way at all. Instead I got 5, count them, 5, PS2 games, and 3 of them are pretty rare, I ordered FFX-2, because I can't seem to find it with case around here, but then I bought Suikoden IV, Suikoden Tactics, Tales of Legendia, and Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Thieves, which I think were really good buys, and I looked for Overlord but couldn't find it. As for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, i'm at the end of it, where you fight Gruntilda which I think is pretty difficult. Im also playing Sly Cooper 2, and i'm about one-third through that I think. I also beat Crisis Core-Final Fantasy VII again (second time) and I think the ending of that game is fantastic and I think graphics for it are the best I've seen on the PSP, I love that CG. Anyway, I'm also going to be ordering Final Fantasy Anthology, and FFVII soon I hope, I really want FFVII, and I think Anthology is a great deal. And also, guys, explain this tagging stuff to me.
Top 4 Platformer Dynamic Duos
by SquareEnixFan13 on Comments
4. Banjo and Kazooie- Banjo and Kazooie are the great duo that have been created by Rare, and they are a..... bear and bird, and the bear isn't eating the bird. Banjo and Kazooie first appeared on the Nintendo 64, where you play as Banjo (the bear) along with Kazooie (the bird), as they try to rescue Banjo's sister-Tooty- from the evil Gruntilda, who has kidnapped her. Much of the duos personality comes from the typical wise-cracking, name-calling sidekick Kazooie, while most of the time I find Banjo to be a bit boring. Rare brought back Banjo-Kazooie with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts And Bolts in 2008, which was reallyquite different fromany previous entries into theseries, though it did feature a fewfan pleasing things in it. So over all to me Banjo-Kazooie are just an average platformer duo but definitely deserving of being on my list. (Because thats a great honor :) )
Mario and Luigi- Mario first came into the gaming scene in the 1981 arcade game "Donkey Kong" where he was known as "Jumpman" in America, and "Mr.VideoGame" in Japan. Mario at first was in fact a carpenter, until one of his makers colleagues suggested that he become a plumber, saying that it would suit Mario better, now lets move on to Luigi. Luigi first appeared to the gaming scene with his brother Mario in 1983 in Mario Bros. Wether Luigi is the older brother or not is not known for sure, though many would agree that he is the younger brother, althoughin Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island you actually see Mario and Luigi being born as twin brothers, so the question still stands. But, anyway, throughout the years Mario and Luigi, have always been the representatives for Nintendo, but there will forever be-in my mind-a great univesal question, and that is, who's the sidekick?
Ratchet And Clank- The Ratchet and Clank series was created by Insomniac, and first aired on the PlayStation 2 in November of 2002. Ratchet and Clank are definitely one of the best duos I have seen in platforming they just seem to counteract eachother very well, Ratchet being the laid back,"ready for everything" hero, and Clank being the cautious, planning sidekick. All-together the Rachet and Clank series has had 8 entries, 2 on the PSP and PS3, and 4 on the PS2, and I hope to see much more from this series.
And the Winner is.........
Jak and Daxter- Jak and Daxter was created by NaughtyDog, and released in December of 2001 for the PlayStation 2, and all-together has had 5 entries into the series, 1 for the PSP, and 4 for the PS2. When Jak and Daxter was originally released it was basically your above average cute 3D platformer, but in 2003 NaughtDog released Jak 2, giving the series a much darker, grittier, and certainly more mature tone to the whole game, which was a change for the fantastic to me. Also I have discovered that another Jak and Daxtergame-by NaughtyDog-is in the works entitled Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, which is scheduled to release the last day of 2009, and I'm really excited about it. But lets get down to why I like them so much, Daxter definitely adds the most personality of the duo, and also he is freaking hilarious! Daxters' personality, is that of a really full-of-himself, sarcasticnerd, who thinks he's a womanizer, but he's really not. And then theres Jak the complete opposite of Daxter, Jak is aquiet, vengeful, loner who is looking to destroy those who transformed him into what he currently isin the game (which he does). So Jak and Daxter definitely win that platformer cake by a longshot, because they're just awesome in general.
Gaming Updates

Lately I have been playing mainly Banjo-Kazooie:Nuts And Bolts, I bought it along with Sly Cooper 2. I'm about to finish Final Fantasy X, and Lost Odyssey for me has come to a halt until I beat Banjo-Kazooie, Sly 2, and Prince Of Persia:The Sands Of Time (which I just bought a couple of days ago). Also I beat Patapon and wrote a review for it so you can read that if you want. And also soon I'm going to be getting some extra money so I'm probably going to buy Mass Effect, and Eternal Sonota (if I can find it for 360), but if I can't find Eternal Sonota, I'm going to get StarOcean:The First Departure. I don't really have time to replay games right now, because I have about 15 gamesI have that I haven't even started/beat yet, and they're all pretty long, so I'm pretty busy as a gamer. Anyway, sorry I haven't given you guys a blog in a little while, I don't really like typing them.....
Top 5 Final Fantasy Characters
by SquareEnixFan13 on Comments
NOTE: This topic is over the FinalFantasy heroes, not the villains.
5. Tidus-FinalFantasy X: Tidus is the leading male protagonist in FinalFantasy X. Tidus comes from the great city of Zanarkand until it's destroyed by Sin, which sends him into the world of Spira. Once in Spira Tidus decides to become a guardian of the summoner Yuna as she goes on her pilgrimage to defeat Sin. The thing I like so much about Tidus is how well he expresses his emotions so well, especially towards Yuna, and also as anyone would know who has played FinalFantasy X, Tidus is just a pretty cool guy all around.
4. Squall Leonhart-FinalFantasy VIII: Squall Leonhart is the leading character in FinalFantasy VIII. Squall Leonhart is a member of the prestigious military academy named SeeD for elite mercenaries. Throughout the game Squall is quite the loner, but once the end comes along he is much more caring and open, because of the friendships he has made along the way, along with a love that he develops for Rinoa. And plus his weapon is awesome, mean it's a gun and it's a blade, what else could you ask for in a weapon?
3. Cloud Strife-FinalFantasy VII: Cloud Strife is the leading male protagonist in one of the greatest role-playing games of all time- FinalFantasy VII. Cloud Strife in FinalFantasy VII, is a soldier who joins the rebel force known as Avalanche, who are rebelling against Shinra-who are destroying the planet. Cloud throughout his life has undergone some very painful experiences, which he had carried around with him darkening his heart, and the very reason he has these pains, is Sephiroth, he is the embodiment of cloud's suffering. Cloud's sword-the Buster sword-is famous aswell, surviving many important events in the story of FinalFantasy VII, and it stands for Cloud's honor.
2. Auron-FinalFantasy X: Auron is quite possibly one of the coolest video game characters I have ever seen. Auron along with Jecht (Tidus' father) was the guardian for high summoner Braska many years ago in the world of Spira, and together they all beat the huge fiend Sin, bringing about the Calm in Spira. But in FinalFantasy X Auron once again plays the guardian for summoner Yuna (Braska's daughter), and once again is trying to defeat the seemingly immortal Sin.
1. Vivi Ornitier-FinalFantasy IX: Vivi is by far my favorite FinalFantasy character, and probably the cutest and most charming. Vivi is a 9 year old mage in FinalFantasy IX, and a fellow friend to the main character Zidane. At the beginning of the game Vivi is a very cowardly, and gullible person, but once the end of the game comes along Vivi is a much more experienced person, and isn't afraid to fight the arms dealer Kuja. Vivi also frequently questions the mystery of his own existence and origination, and he is also known for a quote that he said in FinalFantasy IX which is, "How do you prove that we exist? Maybe we don't exist......". And also judging by the end of the game Vivi is quite the womanizer judging by how many kids he has..... :) And the winner is!!!
