So any considerable changes to a franchise is "ruining it"? Yet everyone complains that Call of Duty never changes from sequel to sequel? Is there no pleasing you guys? And Rockstar games typically control great on PC.

The game looks awesome, appears to have a cinematic, well-acted plot, features kick ass physics, smooth as butter controls for PC and console (at least it seems), and fast-moving, cinematic, third-person gunfights that would make Nathan Drake feel inadequate. I'm super-psyched, but it seems like not alot of people are.
It is true the difference between PC and console games in graphics quality was more significant in the past. This is due to console now being capable of high resolution display and less exclusive PC games that take full advantage of PC hardware. However the PC still holds an edge graphically and is still the only place to play strategy games or MMO games.Strakha
Crysis 2: 1152x720
MW3: 1024x600
BF3:1024x700p
Minimum resolution considered "HD":1280x720
Uncharted and Killzone are the only graphically intense console games that run in HD, and even that is the BARE minimuj HD of 720p. Xbox 360 and PS3
My PC playing Far Cry 1 in 2004: 1600x1200
Your "high resolution" statement...EPIC FAIL!!
"less exclusive PC games that take full advantage of PC hardware."
Not really, you're on the right track though, the fact is that there are less multiplatsthat take advantage of PC hardware, that's why moddable multiplats like GTA 4 and Skyrim have mods that make them look vastly better and still have them run nicely on high-end (not even ulra-high-end, I'm talking $700-900) PC's. If small groups of amateur modders can squeeze that much more graphical fidelity out of the games while not making the game noticeably harder to run, than the team of professional and experienced developers could have easily done it with minimal effort, but they just don't give a damn!! BF3 is the only multiplat I know of to take advantage of PC in areas beyond petty graphics (more players, bigger maps, to me, things like framerate andamount of content/game scale are more important PC advantages than just graphics, even physics contribute to gamepklay more).
[QUOTE="Stalkerfieldsis"][QUOTE="evildead6789"] Well i have perfect eyesight on both eyes, so if i say i can hardly see a difference i'm not lying, off course if you go with your nose up to the screen but that takes away the fun from a big tv.M3boarder23Actually no, the closer you get to a big screen, THE BIGGER IT SEEMS! Oh god you're a moron, reading comprehension fail.
How is this a reading comprehension fail? You said being close to an HDTV defeats its purpose, I said that when I game at a desk 2 feet from my 32 inch 1080p HDTV screen on PC, the screen looks bigger because I'm closer, so making a big HDTV seem bigger=defeating the purpose of a big HDTV? Once again, flawed logic, and genral idiotic argument skills displayed by a console player.
Are you kidding me? What console loving idiot made the PS4=gaming PC argument? The PS4 is coming out in 2014 at the earliest, and it has the hardware of a low end gaming PC in 2012, shut the hell up with your lies console industry!

I know your mind is blown.
Saying "consoles have bad graphics, but if I sit 20ft away/ squint my eyes/ get high on LSD it looks good" is not an argument, if you have to do some ridiculous crap to negate a disadvantage of the consoles.
Console=looks good far away
PC= looks good far away and close up
PC wins
Console gamers arguments are typically based off wrong information or stupid logic, "I don't like PC because I can't use a controller", for example, which is false because you can.
Not to mention arguing against PC by being in denial. For example: (console gamer in 2012)"I don't care about better framerates, resolutions, larger scale games, better controls, or cheaper games on PC, it doesn't make it more fun".
That same gamer in 2014 when the new consoles come out: "OMG this is so sweet I get to play all games at smooth framerates at 1080p, multiplayer games have 64 players, games have larger maps and more features, and a more accurate controller! This nextgen console is awesome!!"
Console gamers usually operate on being biased, close minded, and hypocritical when it comes to gaming.

Good 'ol SW.
I've only been here for a year though, so I wouldn't know what went on at the start of this gen.

It was great. "PC is doomed now that consoles do HD/online. Why would anyone need a PC? No one is gonig to spend $2K on a PC when you can get a 360 for $300! Devs are abonding the PC in droves, enjoy your ports!" ;)
Heretic! Burn the heretic! :P
I don't like the idea of revisiting the over-the-top San Andreas style, they should offer the same ammount and variety of contenrt as San Andreas though. The gritty, semi-realistic tone has become the GTA style, we have Saints Row to aptly fill the "cooky, over the top fun" category.
My personal expectation for GTA 5, as unlikely as it may be, SIMULTANEOUS RELEASE ON PC AND CONSOLES!
Not a huge surprise. Neither side has a compelling lead.lowe0
What? PC (a single platform, as diverse as it is, its just one platform, maybe 2 if Macs are counted in the PC total) is only 3% behind ALL CONSOLES AND HANDHELD's COMBINED!! (At least FIVE different platforms), that means as a single (possibly two counting Mac) platform PC is FAr ahead of everything else. Such hypocrisy, if PS3/X360/Wii mad around as much as all the other consoles and PC combined, people would declare it the clear winner, but when using PC everyone downplays how good its doing, I'm tired of this lying, hypocritical bullcrap when non-PCer's talk about PC games!!
