[QUOTE="Stalkerfieldsis"][QUOTE="locopatho"]Be happy with what PC does very well: MMOs, strategy, indie games. But stop trying to blame consoles for every single PC problem.

Shooters, racers, flight games, non-MMO RPG's....basicly every popular genre of games barring fighters...try harder. See what I mean, I tell the truth andd you start calling me an angry complainer and get all insulting, YOU ARE THE ONE that's butthurt. I'm not the enemy, you're console is.
Your "truth" is simply frustration that very, very few big budget PC exclusives get made outside of MMOs and strategy(which don't work on consoles). You're mad that gaming is being "held back by consoles" when in reality it's PC gamers own fault. Devs look at average sales plus widespread piracy and think "Not worth it to make exclusive, better go multiplat" It's not the console gamers fault, we didn't steal your games or developers. They CHOSE to come to consoles because guess what, we aren't on PS1 anymore. Consoles are perfectly capable of running most of the latest and greatest games from the biggest and best devs in the world. Console gamers like me are just delighted that we get more get games and don't to spend another 3, 4 ,5 hundred on hardware. 360 is 7 years old and STILL getting top games week in, week out. New Bioshock, new Mass Effect, Witcher 2? Yes please. The only "enemy" is silly whining PC gamers who want to live in a world where all devs make huge epic exclusives that only the top 1% of PCs can run and things like sales, dev costs and diminishing returns in power don't exist. Simple fact is while the tiny minority whine about consoles "holding things back", the vast majority of millions are having a brilliant time playing the newest Batman, COD, Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, Portal, or whatever, and whether on console or PC, they are HAVING FUN, which sounds a hell of a lot better then complaining all day ;)Oh I have lots of fun, I just add to that fun by telling off console enthusiast idiots on this forum XD . And I guess Crysis 1&2, the STALKERS, BF3, MW3, GTA 4, Saints Row 3, Batman Arkham series, Red Orchestra 2 , Arma 2 (coming soon ARMA 3, Max Payne 3, Planetside 2...) just to name a few="Barely any big budget titles". And the last game that required a "top 1%" PC to run was Crysis, look locostupid, no games are that hard to run anymore on PC. Stop talking crap about something you obviously have no real experience with, you stupidly think that all big budget games on PC require a $4000 sli rig like Crysis 1 did at launch, when in reality a $700-800 ($100-200 more than a launch PS3) PC will kick every games butt!!.

See, I know how far behind the consoles are, so while most of the uninformed masses don't know they are getting screwed by buying marginally improved, same-old-same-old games when the "next gen" is already possible on PC, I am taking a stand against lazy console-centric-devs treating us like an idiots who's wallets are ripe for the milking. See, you will never be willing to admit that I play a better gaming platform, that's not unreachably expensive, is easy to use, and is constantly improving, because that would mean admitting to yourself you were stupid for buying a console (which is impossible because you are misinformed, pointlessly loyal to outdated hardware, and undeservingly arrogant).
"Consoles are perfectly capable of running most of the latest and greatest games from the biggest and best devs in the world."
Really? Because in this world of HD, consoles can't even run technically impressive games at HD resolutions, BF3 renders at 700p, MW3 at 600p, GTA4 on console looks like I'm playing it while looking through a screen door etc... The minimum enjoyable framerate for games is 30fps, and is considered the standard today, gamesl ike Gears, Uncharted, BF3 and many others in reality run between 20-29 fps most of the time, effecting control smoothness and makes people used to better gaming on PC at 30fps+ get headaches. Games like Rainbow Six, Crysis, Operation Flashpoint, and many other franchises became smaller scale and less complex when they started "shoe-horning" those franchises onto consoles.
So how does being unable to render at HD at all, run at comfortable, industry standard framerates, and being unable to keep the complexity of PC gaming franchises intact therefore taking backwards steps in regards to progress=perfectly capable? It's not, its a marginalized, mainstream, underwhelming money whore of a platform designed to rip-off people with no standards for their purchases and/or no point of reference for what is actually an adequate gaming experience.
