For me, Final Fantasy has always been about Sacrifice. The best in the series had endings that showed what the heroes had to give up to accomplish their goal. 7 and 10 certainly, but also 9 and 6. The good thing is that FF sometimes makes its main characters sacrifice everything, and sometimes they are saved. So when a new one comes out, there's some suspense about how it will end.

Maybe I'm missing something here. He ran a kickstarter to make a game. He made the game. He made a few updates, now he wants to do something else. how is this a bad thing? Did he promise his backers that he' d make a bunch of content after release? If not, then why is this a big deal?

OK, I know Gamespot is trying to do the IGN thing and incorporate stories about film, TV, comics or whatever. Bu t I have no idea what this article is doing here. How is Marry Poppins even remotely related to games or gaming culture? I know... "if you don't like it then don't click on it". The reason I come to Gamespot and not IGN is so I don't have to scroll through a bunch of headlines that aren't about gaming to get to the things I might possibly care about. Why should i waste even the tiny bit of energy required to register that the article is not about gaming and move on with my life? And yes, "if you're time's so important why did you write this big ol' post?" Well... you're right. I'm done.

"The mere presence of titillating material in a game isn't enough to make me want to condemn it on principal."

You mean "principle".

Base Rate Fallacy. There are more PS4s, so of course more PS4 owners will be on ANY site.

You must be British, Sherlock.

That's good. Since Australians aren't allowed to actually play video games, they can at least watch.
