     For some years now, The Rock has been known as “the peoples champ”, he cocked his eyebrow towards the heavens and called it “the people’s eyebrow”. He names the most electrifying move in sports entertainment , atleast The King thinks so, as “the people’s elbow”. My point is, for the most part of The Rock successful career, he has been associated as being one with the people, and mostly everyone agreed, but now in 2006,  does it still remain so?

     The Rock  , now a more skinnier and more happy hearted Rock, has more on his plate these days. People are now starting to question is he the “people champ” or “hollywood’s champ”, and rightfully so. Every since his debut in movies, he’s not been himself, it’s almost as if he forgot how he got where he is today, and that’s from the “people”. The Rock has had two good runs every since his first movie, when he won the undisputed championship in 2002, and when he returned as a heel in 2003. That was almost 3 years ago, it is said that The Rock wants to “silently retire”, which is not popular with most of the fans. Whenever Raw was in the state of California, The Rock almost everytime made an appearance, but even now that has stopped.

     The Rock has had only one 1 on 1 match up in the last 3 years, and that’s sad, Rock had so much potential in this business. Triple H is known as the big ten time champion in this business, as impressive as that is, The Rock had seven championship after his last run, when Triple H only had five, just imagine where he would be today.

     The Rock still has the opportunity to prove that he is, with out any shadow of a doubt, the “peoples champion”, all he have to do is ignore his ego and listen to “the millions”, by going one on one with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. Although he says Michaels isn’t big enough of a star, there are many fans who would love to see it, and as the “people’s champ” isn’t that all that matters? Rock needs to set aside all differences and take on HBK in Chicago, because if he don’t , in my personal opinion, he will no longer be considered the “peoples champion”.

hmmm,come on guys,mark henry isnt that bad,hes just over hyped right now,can you blame the wwe for trying to get the most out of this contract before it expires?ok,agreed,he doesnt deserve main event status,and trust me,he wont remain there,wait til the road to wm is over,then henry will regain his spot at mediocrity.

Thats the funniest thing I have heard all day. Lets blame Angle and the fans cause Cena sucks. Great mentality there WWE, especially you Trips. I cant wait until you dont "portray the heel well enough" also. Cena is nothing but a flop, WWE needs to face it. He will never be Hogan. He will never be the Rock. He will never be Austin. The man sucks plain and simple.SeriousThreat

ouch,hes not that bad,i personally believe that he could become one of the greatest heels of all time,the wwe just need to accept it,his run as a face is done,plain and simple.same happened to the rock,"die rocky die",they all turned on him early in his career way before he turned on them,so he finally gave in,turned heel,now look at him,cena needs to do the same.

There really are an evident matches yet, I'll reserve judgement till I watch it. I feel though in recent years the only two PPV's that ever really warrant a purchase are Summerslam and Wrestlemania, traditionally they are thought of ass the two biggest ones so the superstars step it up. But I've got to be honest with you, I have never really thought the main event match leading to the Mania was good enough. What I mean is, I was never really hyped for HHHvHBKvBenoit (but I loved it), I didn't really thin Lesnar v Angle was Mania material (boy I was wrong), I remember being more hyped about the gimmick battle royale at X7 then Austin vs  Rocky (I have no idea what I was thinking but that main event blew me away). I'll order Wrestlmania even if they have donkeys fornicating in the main event because it always seems to work out.scoobypat

WOW,you actually wasnt excited about austin v rock,hell i was so excited that as great as the match was,it didnt live up to the hype i was personally giving it,and as for wm always working out,anyone remember wrestlemania 16,better known as wrestlemania 2000,one of the worst main events EVER.

[QUOTE="StarOne1"]

[QUOTE="The_Last_Ride"]Golberg vs UndertakerThe_Last_Ride

that could be good,but anything involving undertaker and wrestlemania,is usually a giveaway ending,i would rather see that one at summerslam

Yeah your probably right, but it would still be awesome:D. Just think of it, how many spears it would have to take to make taker sat down, or if Tombstone would be enough for goldberg:D

id love to see it,but im not sure if they would let goldberg kick out of the tombstone

Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart - 60 Minute Ultimate Submission MatchDirtyDarren

now your talking my language,the ankle lock v the sharpshooter,the ultimate test of manhood,who will tap out,who will leave the ring in shame,because although its an iron man match,i believe itll only be one fall,1-0,because these two men are to great to keep tapping out in one match,hell i dont even care who wins,as long as i get to see it happen!!!

If I could only choose one, it'd be Michaels vs. RVD in a Ladder Match. Both guys have confronted one on one before (after Survivor Series 2002) but Hunter took RVD's spot. Since then, both guys have been speculated to have a match that has been considered a "dream match". HBK and RVD are two great athletes and have contributed to giving the Ladder Match a legacy. If they don't have a Ladder Match, singles would do me fine too.

hbk91

and he has returned,Van Dam,wow,the wwe better give this guy a push,the time is NOW,hes been gone for a real long time,the fans are backing him more than ever before,if hes gonna get a push he needs for it to happen now,they already missed a great possibility,they could had done the hhh comeback of 02 with van dam,he should of had a huge comeback,won the rumble,and then the title,hes got the talent and the charisma,what else can you ask for

Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle (WWE Champ) vs. Chris Benoit (WHC) in a Triple Threat Ladder Match. Technical, submissions and high flying all in one match! Jericho coming back to re-unify the championships would be just the ultimate for me.inferno-gaa

this is a real posibilitie one day,jericho will definitely be returning some day,the only draw back is that angle has elevated above the other two in superstart status,maybe a few years ago this could had been more possible ,but now,who knows,there all former champs,but angle is just much more important these days,he may have a bigger opponent.
