Trying to think about what life was like, before life didn't exist, or before even the universe existed. What was it like when there wasn't a universe or universes? Just a bunch of black?
Or what about death, if we don't go to heaven or whatever, then what is death like? It's basically eternal sleep, yes, but normal sleep has an end, but what happens when it doesn't end, and when we don't have dreams or nightmares to fill in the space?

Trying to figure out how was it like before life isn't very hard, science has it figured it out or has a pretty good idea of how it happened. Whether it is the formation of the solar system and the cooling down of Earth, or the creation and evolution of life on this planet. That being said, i like you and charizard, have a problem too figuring out what was it when like there was no space-time continuum, so there was no time either and yet at certain point of time, ahhh... As far as death goes i think it's just ceasing to exist, you feel nothing you perceive nothing, your body is completely shut down and... you're dead.
Jon Stewart did a nice pun about this. Apparently, this doomsday collapse of the economy on August the 2nd scenario is kinda silly and exaggerated, the date has been moved several times. Now, who would have thought it. I don't know, i don't live there...
I agree. But what I'm stating is only towards American Atheist. As an atheist, I believe none of this crap matters. Ergo, there should be no club/group/organization for something that's meaning is nothing. MetallicaKings
But they think this crap matters. This group was created to represent the rights of the American atheists, and complete separation of church and state. That being said, i agree this lawsuit is pretty pointless... :D
^ I used to do that. And i wondered if it would stop or just keep going and going. I also try to imagine from time to time what was before matter and how matter formed, i obviously failed since much much smarter minds don't have a solution to that problem, it's a fun thought experiment though.
