im defending the propaganda. Smoking is obviouisly horrible for you, and nobody should do it. Just not as horrible as most people are led to believe It's not that bad actually. It's not like you're going to live forever unless you start smoking. I never understood the point of a healthy life. Why? You live a healthy life and then you die and you're eaten by maggots just the same as the junkie next to you. Why not just indulge in pointless hedonism and do what pleases you. I'm not saying start smoking, i'm saying smoke if it pleases you. Some people like the taste some don't.
Chances are, if you start smoking nothing will change drastically :P Unless you're a professional athlete. Sure, you can die from smoking but you can die from so many other things. If you start smoking and you enjoy it, my recommendation is to smoke moderately but not quit. What the heck anyway, who gives a s**t.
We are not the masters of our destinies. In this society we are dependent on other people and many other factors. For example, you want to become lets say a renowned lawyer. So you study hard because you wish to succeed on that field. But you are limited to so many things, first of all your intelligence and capacity to learn, if someone's stupid or lightly put his brain is limited no matter how hard he tries he will fail, second of all there is chance and luck, one has to be lucky sometimes to succeed in this life, and third of all other people influence your destiny. Whether it's your boss not wanting to promote you because he's a pathetic idiot or you getting hit by a drunk driver and your dreams going down the drain you do not hold your destiny in our hands, you are not the master but a mere servant. If i were the master of my destiny i could choose to become a football star and i would have, because that theory says we create our own destinies but the truth is we are limited to so many things, in this case my two left feet stop me.
It's irrational because there is absolutely no proof to back up the claim that a god exist, that why you need faith. And when you believe in something without a shred of proof, it's very irrational.
I also hate that people have to apologize for everything nowadays. Whatever you say on tv, no matter how true someone will get insulted. You then are pressured to apologize and what you say loses all meaning. Apologies are a waste of breath most of the time, most politicians, when they start rambling and accidentally insult a person or a group they immediately go around apologizing "oh i didn't mean that" when they actually did. Why apologize then, show your true nature, don't be a hypocrite. Oh sorry i forgot you were a politician.
