So you're telling me that no one thought this game could reach an 8? I was hoping at best it would reach an 8. Thats all I am saying. What games are there to hype for the wii. They are putting out an avg. of ONE game every two months. So every two months feel free to hype that ONE game. rawbwilsh
Seriously, what do you expect out of them? Most of the developers didn't get full developing kits very close to the console's release. And where the crap are all of these awesome games that are coming out for the 360? Oh yeah, they're all still in development. Great games DO NOT come out every month. Besides that, they are releasing a lot more than one game per month. That statement is just ridiculous.

No because this isn't the April addition and its from the Official Nintendo Magazine. Well that clears that up then. In my mind it is either Kid Icarus or NiGHTS. Either would be great. :) :D It is so clearly NiGHTs. The logos fit perfectly.

No, its not; have you ever heard of the uncanny valley? Also: at some point in the future graphics capabilities will be such that EVERYTHING will look as realistic as it possibly can.....where do you go from there? I bet when that happens we will see a WHOLE lot more threads in places like this about GAMEPLAY. But until that day comes we are going to have fools bickering back and forth about nothing, saying nothing but, "Yay this because its got the l33t gfx!" and "boo that because it doesnt have good enough graphics." Actually kind of like the OT's original post....I said to an extent. I agree that we need the Wii here, yet some many people don't realize it. Just as I'd hate to have 3 console powerhouses I would hate to have 3 consoles that are gameplay only based. When the smoke clears and the dust settles the console with the best games is always going to win imo. Graphics WILL reach a point where they cant go further in terms of realism. They havent gotten their yet but they will and probably sooner than most people think. Not at all. Graphics can exceed realism.. For example, look at the Movie 300. It is realism, and it's improved with art. Well thats my opinion, I'm one of the people whom love the lighting in the movie "300". It should be like that in everymovie. I thought 300 was a great movie, but I don't want to see that graphical style saturate every single movie that I see from now on. I want variety. Had the Lord of the Rings movies had the same lighting, I wouldn't have enjoyed them half as much. Which is why I stand by my---I think it is essential to have the Wii and both the X360 and PS3 here in our industry. Yes, what these CHILDREN do not realize is that competition spurs ingenuity. So without all three console makers, the individual companies would never see a reason to push new ideas. They provide the only software, and people are forced to buy that software if they want to play games. When will you people understand, COMPETITION IS NECESSARY for any industry to move forward.
