Aside from the VC there's nothing out there now that I consider a must buy. At this point the Wii is taking a back seat to my 360 just like the N64 did to the PS1.Dead_MennSonic Super Paper Mario SSX Blur Mario Party 8 Pokemon Battle Revolution Super Smash Bros Brawl Disaster: Day of Crisis All of those are expected before Q4. lol why do sheep hype games like "sonic" or "SSX Blur" or LOL "Pokemon Battle Revolution" COMON even cows have a better 2007 lineup thats cuz sheep live in flocks Hate to break it to you pally, but those games will sell sonic = 7.6 :D *looks at 360 2007 line up, then looks at wii line 2007 up* OHH NOOOOOEEESSS not pokemon 360 = doomed 360 has been out for an entire year... Regardless, more people are buying Wiis at the moment, and are looking for software to play on it. that cuz of casual gamers, 250 is still way to mutch for that inferior console Doesn't matter. Over 4 million casuals and hardcore gamers alike have already purchased a Wii, and I still know people that are looking for them. Cry about it all you want, the Wii being an inferior good is on a personal basis at the moment, and not many share your opinion at the moment.

Nah, the Wii has a nice chance of winning in sales, not only this month, but the entire year. :)[QUOTE="juanfraino"][QUOTE="MasterChumly"]So with the latest sales figures in and Wii having won the month of January and in position to win February in North America, along with outselling the PS3 3-1 in Japan do you guys think that Nintendo can keep this up. Does anyone believe that Nintendo might actually win this generation? Or do you think that the 360 and PS3 will eventually pass it in sales in the coming month/months?Nagidar
Agreed, Nintendo has proven inovation > Graphics.
I don't think we can say that quite yet. There really hasn't been a game that has truly unlocked the wiimote's potential. I think Nintendo has demonstrated that they are smart enough to make easily-approachable software at a reasonable price. Put that with a wacky console name, and you've hooked casuals, which is where Nintendo is dominating at the moment. And despite what you hardcore gamers say, this is the group that will ultimately win the console war. It's what got Sony's win with the PS2. I'm going to hold out for some titles that will undoubtedly come out later this year to say that Nintendo has proven that innovation > graphics.[QUOTE="Strider212"][QUOTE="shsonline"]Were sheep actually thinking sonic would be a noteworthy game? Or was it just a few crazy loons? I was always thinking it was a lighthearted inside joke or something.MAILER_DAEMONActually they hyped it just right. Most said high A to low AA.And it turned out better than the PS3 and 360 game... Agreed. I was thinking about buying it, but I think that I will wait for SSX Blur now. I am hyping that game AA. Sonic will be on my rent list though.

[QUOTE="Strider212"][QUOTE="PikaPichu"]Like many things, Metroid seemed to have lost its spark when it went to 3D and became a FPA. If you want to see what made Metroid games so great, check out the 2D Castlevania games on the PS2, GBA and DS. PikaPichu
Thus the horrid score it received, right?

No, it's something that a score can't really convey. Only Metroid freaks like myself can understand. :( I'm a metroid fan myself, but I thought it translated very well. Enough nostalgia to keep me satisfied, and enough innovation to keep me interested. MP2 was not nearly as good, but I am looking forward to using my arm as an extension of Samus' arm cannon. :) Castlevania did not translate well to 3D, but that was because sidescrolling is what defined the game. Metroid was about exploration, getting new gadgets to play with, and fighting huge bosses. Retro translated all of this, and actually gave some depth to the otherwise lifeless story.
