Imagine this game relaunching with a $70 price tag, and being proud to GladlyPayâ„¢ that........

instead of just:

  • adding the DLC to the base game you already own
  • patching in the menial graphics updates they're certainly charging you for
  • adding 120 FPS boost + enhanced resolution
  • launching the game in GamePass
  • actually being able to recognize your save data from the original game, and not have to start over.

Again, imagine being proud to GladlyPayâ„¢ $70 for that, after already paying for the base game. I don't ever want to hear Cows don't care about old games again.

Meh, its an old game, so not worried.

Cows sure do love their remasters of remakes of old games though.

Considering you just played this game last year, and you already want a "remaster", maybe you love "old games" more than you let on.

@BlackShirt20: Sony doesn't need a Gamepass. Their games actually sell well. In the meantime, PS Plus(which now offers new games) and PS Now still offers great value despite not having day one games. Games are still playable beyond day one, are they not?

Not according to Cows. Cows dont play old games.

The $1 trials can only take them so far.

They're only trying to boost numbers to make it sound better than it is. Xbums barely bought games last gen, there's no way they'll all keep up a full priced sub once the trials and conversions are over. Game Pass is gonna bleed like a stuck pig for the rest of its run.

Thats a nice theory, but Gamepass is consistently growing at a rate of more than 1 million+ per month. It was already on pace to hit 30 million by next January, and its already ahead of schedule.

If your theory was correct, subscribers would be dropping off after the trial prices, but that is not happening. Instead, the number is continuously climbing, and showing literally zero signs of slowing down. On the contrary, even the growth rate is increasing.

5 million users in the span of 3 months? Hell, even YOU have GamePass, and I bet you don't even have PSNow, despite the fact that it was $1 a few weeks ago. So there goes that theory about $1 deals inflating the numbers, for some reason, it doesnt seem to help Sony.

....

Does this trigger you TC?

Does it trigger you even more, that Gamepass will have even more content than it does now?

Does it trigger you to know, that you are on the wrong side of this debate.? And that no matter how hard you fight against it.......Jim Ryan does not agree with you.

In 2 years you are going to be bragging about Playstation's "GamePass" and why its "better" like it was Sony's idea.

Like many of us have been saying all along, this is not a sustainable business model a

I'm sure a bunch of mouth-breathers on a forum know better how to make money than a multi-billion 2 trillion$ corporation, and one of the most solvent, liquid, cash rich institutions that has EVER existed on earth, at any time in human history.

Fixed.

But yea, not sure why Cows are so obsessed with pocketwatching people who absolutely do not need their help making money, lol.

I enjoyed Uncharted 2 and 3's multiplayer on PS3, but they were clearly not up to the standards of their counterparts on other platforms at the time. They were "me too" also rans, and im pretty sure ND even namedropped "Halo, Gears, and COD" as what their inspiration was.

The closest Sony has ever come to having a unique multiplayer game that could stand next to its contemporaries was TLOU Factions.

That's embarrassing. Looks like Jason Schreier is confirming his posts were based on his own speculation, and not proprietary insider info, like I said. Guess Cows will have to go back to "it will be shit anyways" while pretending to be in ecstasy over Returnal.

Mods, can we can close this shitty thread now?

Klobrille, Jeff Grubb, Shpeshal Ed, Jez Corden, RandalThor19, Karak + Matty from Defining Duke, all seem quite confident in the 2021 release date.

Plenty of VERY credible Xbox leakers/insiders, whom have a far more reliable track record reguarding proprietary Xbox-based insider information.

So.....it seems like Jason Schreier's post was based entirely on his own personal speculation, and he is not privy to any proprietary information reguarding Starfield's release date, or any other Xbox exclusives. Don't even see who his source could be, considering Jason Schreier has been blacklisted by Bethesda for the past 10 years.
