Funny thing is.... Microsoft could re-acquire the actual Bungie tomorrow, and Cows would not be capping as hard as they're capping for this. Yeah im sure this makes up for established beloved devs like Bethesda, ID Software, Arkane, Machine Games, Obsidian, Double Fine, InXile, Playground Games, and Ninja Theory🤣

Man, the Bethesda deal closing, the nonstop PR coups of GamePass, as well as its enourmous popularity at 23 million subs, and Sony giving you nothing but bad news, radio silence, and lukewarm updates, its painful seeing Cows struggling like this 🤣

The better question is........what are PS5 users going to be playing this holiday? If Horizon FW is vaporware till 2022 at the earliest, it wont be a PS5.

Nope. PS fans will all be playing their "PC"s, and injecting that Xbox/Gamepass juice into your veins, while you're PS5 sits in standby mode.

I'd hardly say Bethesda's brand is "tarnished". They've made what.....two bad games in the last 20 years, in Fallout 76 and Wolfenstein YoungBlood? Both of which were internally outsourced to ancillary teams at Bethesda, operating in a different building/city/state/region, and continent (in Wolfenstein's case)than the proper studios who make those games?

Starfield has recieved a 2021 copyright notice, and been added to Zenimax's Copyright page. Apparently this only happens during release years.

Im pretty sure I remember either Todd Howard or Pete Hines said they wanted to repeat the Fallout 4 marketing strategy for this game. If you remember, that game was revealed a week before E3, then a total blowout at E3, followed by release 5 months later.

Imagine how well this game is going to perform in GamePass. How many millions of people this game is going to drive into the platform, or to get a Series X over a PS5 🤣

The holidays are going to be beautiful with this + the rumored Forza Horizon 5. I wonder what Cows are going to be doing this fall. One thing thats for certain, if this is true expect MILLIONS of PS5s to be in Standby Mode for at least 100+ hours while Ponies are all getting their Xbox "fix" on PC, after dumpster diving for poptart boxes so they can get "free" GamePass. 🤣

I'd say that dream aint happening at this point. None of the official Playstation PR/social channels have published the trailer, any marketing material, or even publicly acknowledged the existance of the game in any way. Not even a retweet from a single Sony blue-checkmark exec. That is because they were not sent these materials and given permission to post or engage with them.

This was not a mistake, misunderstanding, or an oversight. Deathloop content gets plastered, retweeted, liked, and reposted all over Sony channels the instant it goes up elsewhere. There is no up-in-the-air, will they or wont they thing going on here.

In 6 weeks, it will have been 20 years since the release of the last Gran Turismo game to score a 90 or above, on Metacritic.

That game came out before 9/11 happened, and we were not at war with Afghanistan, for a reference for how long its been.

Forza has had like 6 or 7 games score above a 90 on Metacritic in that same timespan. And very likely will have one this fall, in Horizon 5.

Can you imagine how hard Xbox fans would be being cooked right now if they were parading around a procedurally generated, roguelike, bullethell shooter with extremely janky looking TPS gameplay?

Mainline Final Fantasies. Of course its my opinion, but Final Fantasy has been trash since it stopped being turn based. And I haven't touched an MMO since my WoW and Runescape days, and that was like 2009.
