The other day you were butthurt about people giving their honest raw opinions calling the design ugly, and suggesting (im convinced unironically) that it was some coordinated effort to spread "FUD" and besmirch Sony's good name. The whole world isnt part of some massive conspiracy to slight the PS5 breh.

I just noticed that it looks like the PS5 can only be stood upright. I haven't read any more information, if any has come out, but just from looking at the form factor, it doesn't appear that it supports a horizontal posture.

Also, its good that the console supports Male to Male USB C.

The digital only version of this console, is also such a puzzling and un-asked for move. Even more puzzling considering ballooning install sizes that are set to only get bigger, and the fact you're required to buy Sony's SUPAH-FAST-SSD, or an equivalent, which is also expensive. Those SSDs are going to fill up fast.

That they're this desperate to shave the price down just so they can have a cheaper sku available should be a red flag to everyone about the price of this console. This is not going to be cheap. Expect $599.

There is no secret wildcard Sony has up its sleeve.

There is no variable we dont understand, lurking beneath the surface, that Sony is deceptively obfuscating about the true nature of the PS5.

Sony does not possess some proprietary, super duper engineering prowess unique to them, that Microsoft does not have access to.

There is no secret, hidden factor that Sony is going to pull out of nowhere, that they are patiently biding their time, looking for the perfect moment to strike, and catch MS with their pants down. Blindsiding them. The SSD wont do it. The tempest chip wont do it. Sony's super duper first party wont do it.

What we've seen is what we are going to get. There is no Secret Sauce coming to save you.

The premise of this thread is weird.

If you're a gamer/normal person, you typically root for things that are in your best interests. Like rooting for a console to be as powerful as possible. Unless you're a Sony fan, in which case, you root for things that are in Sony's best interests.

Like Sony fans who actively rooted against cross-game chat, and then busted out their business suits and spreadsheets, despite styling their entire identities at the start of this gen as pro-consumer advocate heroes.

on some level, Cows understand that Sony will be on the losing end of any equal-footing arms race based on resources alone (bar some massive PS3/Xbox One level strategic miscalculation), so they distance themselves from power alltogether, or in some cases they actively root against it. They root for "price" and "load times" etc......

Im sure PS5 will be a letdown. They've shown no console so far, and its supposed to come out this year. Plus it sounds like they're having some pretty significant production/overheating/pricing issues behind the scenes.
