On topic, I dont know. The point is, 10 years ago, the mere concept of this happening wouldnt be up for debate or discussion. Despite the Forza games consistently scoring better, that was never reflected in the sales, and it was just assumed that GT would always sell better.

It just goes to show that the cultural mindshare finally shifted towards Forza and away from Gran Turismo, to match the scores.

Its ok that Gran Turismo Sport only sold 3.27m, despite releasing more than a year after Forza Horizon 3.

.....I think, to date, more than nine million people have played Forza Horizon 3. But if you'd told me right back around the launch window that that was going to be how it panned out? That's astonishing. That was beyond wildest dreams territory for this team.

Still amazing reguardless. Shows the growth in cultural mindshare this franchise has experienced, especially compared to Gran Turismo.

If you compared the sales of this game, to say........Gran Turismo Sport, and then took a time machine back 10 years into the past and posted that info on System Wars, you would have been laughed off of the internet.

The Captain Spirit demo was awesome, as was the first game. I already like it more than the first, imo. Havent played before the storm yet.

I have a personal rule though, that I dont play games like this until all of the episodes are out, because I dont like waiting. I feel like my opinion of Life is Strange would have been different if I hadnt played them all at the same time, and had to wait a month before each episode.

Cows will respond to it the same way they've done with every innovation Xbox has done since 2005.

1. Attack it and pretend they dont even want it, (see Cross game chat, Trophies, in game XMB, and currently Cross-play)
2. when Sony starts acknowleging the critisism for not having it, and Cows realize that they're going to be on the wrong side of the issue, they update their opinion to "I dont care for it either way". (See Cross-play, also see the above)
3. Sony eventually will discreetly make their own version of it, and Cows will either argue that its better, or just wont talk about it anymore.

On topic, I think they're probably going to evolve PS Now into a service like Game Pass.

I mean, this isnt a 343i or Coalition game, or anything. This game, from its inception, was always a dubious proposition.

Its an un-asked for sequel to a low profile franchise of middling critical reception, and underwhelming sales, known almost entirely for being packaged with the Halo 3 demo, a game thats being colaborated on together by three different no-name, low profile studios at the same time (that most reading this probably cant name without googling), none of whom are the original developers of the series.

Again, this was a dubious proposition from the get go.

Im saying Cows got bullied last gen for hyping up every single one of their games as the savior thats going to turn the tide, and those games flopping, and they want revenge for last gen. But they are trying to draw a false equivalence to lems, where none exists.

Noone is hyping, or has ever hyped Crackdown, at least not in earnest, to the extent that Cows want them to. And most certainly not to the extent that Cows earnestly hyped their own awful games last gen. Cows are trying to project that onto lems. Lems have never felt the need to put their full weight behind every game MS makes, as the savior of the platform. Thats a pathology that began exclusively with Cows last gen.

Its like Cows want revenge against lems for getting their asses kicked last gen, when COWS would hype up every single one of Sony's shitty games last gen, and put their full weight behind every one of them as the game thats going to turn the tide and make PS3 close the gap with 360. Of course all of those games would flop, or be dead on arrival, and Cows would get roasted. Cows were the ones who felt the need to put their full weight behind every game Sony put out last gen, reguardless of whether or not they gave two shits about any of those shitty games.

Cows started that nonsense last gen, and got roasted for it. Now, they're trying to project their stupidity last gen, onto lems THIS gen. But that is a false equivalence.

Another example of this is Cows have been trying so hard this gen to make "secret sauce" and "teh cloud" the lemmings counterpart to Cows "powah of teh cell" bullshit from last gen. That is a false equivalence. I argued with way too many Cows last gen who thought the cell processor was magic, and defied the laws of thermodynamics.

Just because Cows were stupid enough to believe TEH CELL nonsense in earnest last gen, they're trying to make it look like theres a large contingency of lems doing the equivalent of that stupidity this gen. Again, false equivalence.
